Abstract: A three-dimensionally patterned energy absorptive material and fabrication method having multiple layers of patterned filaments extrusion-formed from a curable pre-cursor material and stacked and cured in a three-dimensionally patterned architecture so that the energy absorptive material produced thereby has an engineered bulk property associated with the three-dimensionally patterned architecture.

Abstract: A system and method of producing polyethylene, including: polymerizing ethylene in presence of a catalyst system in a reactor to form polyethylene, wherein the catalyst system includes a first catalyst and a second catalyst; and adjusting reactor conditions and an amount of the second catalyst fed to the reactor to control melt index (MI), density, and melt flow ratio (MFR) of the polyethylene.

Abstract: User access to a data storage system including one or more nodes providing a plurality of data storage resources is controlled, the plurality of data storage resources storing one or more user-accessible primary data structures and one or more user-accessible secondary data structures, each secondary data structures being stored on the basis of a respective associated primary data structure, wherein the data storage system stores, for each secondary data structure, data structure metadata which is indicative of a parent data storage resource and an owner data storage resource of the respective secondary data structure. Upon receiving a user request to access a certain secondary data structure of the one or more secondary data structures stored on a respective parent data storage resource, based on data structure metadata stored for the certain secondary data structure, the respective owner data storage resource of the certain secondary data structure is determined.

Abstract: A bracket for mounting an anchor pretensioner and a retractor for a vehicle seat is provided. The bracket comprises a first plate facing the anchor pretensioner, a second plate facing the retractor and a hollow spacer extending between the first and second plates, and connected to the first and second plates. The hollow spacer is configured to allow a fastener to pass through to connect the anchor pretensioner and the retractor to a vehicle body.
Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions according to review and approval workflows. The transaction exchange platform may receive transactions from origination sources, which may be added to the SDP as transaction objects. Microservices on the transaction exchange platform may interact with the transaction objects based on configured workflows associated with the transactions. Processing on the transaction exchange platform may facilitate clearing and settlement of transactions. Some aspects may provide for dynamic and flexible reconfiguration of workflows and/or microservices. Other aspects may provide for data snapshots and workflow tracking, allowing for monitoring, quality control, and auditability of transactions on the transaction exchange platform.

Abstract: An illuminator includes a semiconductor emitter chip, e.g. a VCSEL chip, configured for emitting a light beam. A polarization-selective element is optically coupled to the semiconductor emitter chip for defining a polarization state of the emitted light beam. A beam redirecting optic is coupled to the polarization-selective element for receiving and at least one of collimating or redirecting the emitted light beam. The polarization-selective element, e.g. a polarization-selective optical feedback element for VCSEL, defines a polarization state of the emitted light beam, thereby stabilizing output optical power of light beam propagated through the beam redirecting optic. A light beam of a constant optical power and a well-defined polarization state may be used as an illumination source for an eye-tracking system.
