Abstract: Methods of forming semiconductor packages include providing a first insulator layer coupled with a first metallic layer. A recess is formed in the first metallic layer and a semiconductor die is mechanically coupled therein. The die is mechanically coupled with a second metallic layer and the second metallic layer is coupled with a second insulator layer. The die and layers are at least partially encapsulated to form the semiconductor package. The first and/or second metallic layers may be insulator-metal substrates, metal-insulator-metal (MIM) substrates, or may be formed of lead frames. In implementations the package does not include a spacer between the die and the first metallic layer and does not include a spacer between the die and the second metallic layer. In implementations the first insulator layer and the second insulator layer are exposed through the encapsulant or are mechanically coupled with metallic layers exposed through the encapsulant.

Abstract: A circuit for controlling a switching power supply includes a disable signal generator generating a disable signal in response to an input clock signal, a timer circuit generating a timeout signal in response to the disable signal, a comparison signal generator generating a comparison signal in response to an output signal of the power supply, a first threshold signal generator generating a first threshold signal in response to the comparison signal, the first threshold signal having a value greater than that of the comparison signal, and a first comparator comparing the first threshold signal and a sense signal to de-assert the modulation signal when the sense signal is equal to or greater than the first threshold signal and the timeout signal has a first logic value.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure facilitate managing information technology service level agreements. In some embodiments, the system includes a server that accesses a database storing a support ticket in memory. The support ticket can include a creation time and a service level agreement. The service level agreement can include a maximum response time. The server initiates, via the computer network, responsive to input from a computing device, a chat session associated with the computing device and the support ticket. The initiating can be associated with a time stamp. The server can be configured to determine a compliance with the service level agreement. The compliance can be computed as a difference between the time stamp and the creation time being less than the maximum response time. The server can be configured to generate a notification of the compliance with the service level agreement.

Abstract: The present technology relates to improving computing services in a distributed network of remote computing resources, such as edge nodes in an edge compute network. In an aspect, the technology relates to a system that includes a plurality of edge nodes and a beacon. The system performs operations that may include collecting traffic data from the beacon over a period of time, wherein the traffic data includes at least an amount of devices sending probe requests to the beacon; comparing the amount of devices to a predetermined threshold for traffic data; and based on the comparison of the amount of devices to the predetermined threshold for traffic data, generating a recommendation for installation of a new edge node in addition to the plurality of edge nodes.

Abstract: The present technology relates to improving computing services in a distributed network of remote computing resources, such as edge nodes in an edge compute network. In an aspect, the technology relates to a method that includes aggregating historical request data for a plurality of requests, wherein the aggregated historical request data a time of the request, a location of a device from which the request originated, and/or a type of service being requested. The method also incudes training a machine learning model based on the aggregated historical request data; generating, from the trained machine learning model, a prediction for a type of service to be request; identifying an edge node, from a plurality of edge nodes, based on a physical location of the edge node; and based on predicted service, allocating computing resources for the computing service on the identified edge node.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The front portion may have a face portion. A rear surface of the face portion may have a plurality of face regions arranged in a plurality of rows and columns forming a grid. Abstract: A self-powered laminated switchable glass system. The laminated switchable glass system having an interior and exterior tempered glass layer. A transparent luminescent solar concentrator layer and a switchable glass film layer is disposed between the exterior and interior glass layer. The solar layer provides power to the switchable glass film layer to allow selective opacity of the switchable glass film.

Abstract: A shield cage assembly of the present disclosure comprises a metal shield shell and a heat dissipating module. The metal shield shell comprises a plurality of walls and an accommodating space defined by the plurality of walls, and the accommodating space has a front end port. The heat dissipating module is assembled to one of the walls of the metal shield shell, and the metal shield shell further includes side walls respectively positioned at two sides of the wall to which the heat dissipating module is assembled. The heat dissipating module further includes a frame and a first heat dissipating member, the frame having a frame body formed at a central portion of the frame to receive the first heat dissipating member and two side plates which extend from two side edges of the frame and which are parallel to the side walls.

Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with embodiments of this invention provide for encoding and playing back video at different frame rates using enhancement layers. In a number of embodiments, video is encoded using temporal scalability involving the creation of a base layer at a first frame rate and an enhancement layer including additional frames enabling playback at a second higher frame rate. The second higher frame rate can also be referred to as an enhanced frame rate. In a number of embodiments, the base and enhancement layers are stored in one or more container files that contain metadata describing the enhancement layer. Based on the capabilities of a playback device, it can select the particular frame rate at which to playback encoded video.

Abstract: A pickup unit of an agricultural baler that includes a reel with a plurality of tines configured for lifting a crop material from a field, the reel is rotatable in an operating direction and a reverse direction, and a drive system configured for driving the reel. The drive system includes a gearbox configured for receiving motive power from a power take off (PTO) shaft, a drive shaft operably connected to the gearbox, and a first clutch connected to the drive shaft. The first clutch is configured for operably disconnecting motive power to the reel so that the reel is manually rotatable as the PTO shaft remains operably engaged with the gearbox.

Abstract: A trailer detection system for a vehicle includes a radar system outputting object point location data to a rear of the vehicle and a controller. The controller receives the object point location data and determines a position of an edge of the trailer relative to the vehicle by processing the object point location data from the radar system at a reduced threshold relative to use of the data in detecting a vehicle and filters out object point location data not correlated with the edge of the trailer based on object point location data persistence during driving of the vehicle. The controller further correlates the determined position of the edge of the trailer relative to the vehicle to determine an angle of the trailer relative to the vehicle about a coupling point.

Abstract: A modular furniture seat assembly comprises a seating portion having a front end, a rear end, a pair of opposing side edges, and a seating connector component on each of the opposing side edges. A back portion is provided and has a lower end, an upper end, and a pair of opposing side edges. The lower end of the back portion connects to the rear end of the seating portion. Abstract: Thermoplastic composite preforms for continuous fiber thermoplastic composite structural profiles and a system and method of manufacture for structural profiles utilizing thermoplastic filaments comingled with high strength fibers such as carbon fibers and braided into complex preforms suitable for automated press forming is disclosed. Utilizing flexible preforms in lieu of conventional rigid thermoplastic pre-preg material forms allows for manufacture of complex shapes, including both straight and curved shapes by an automated process.

A processing core corresponding to the determined memory address range of the I/O operation may be determined, for example, by accessing a data structure that maps address ranges to processing cores. An I/O communication including the I/O operation may be sent from the interconnect component to the determined processing core.
