Abstract: The present invention provides a rear-end collision system and methods. A rear-end collision avoidance system includes: a signaling device made of: a geometric-shaped main body having inner LED light panel connected to the brake pedal of the vehicle, wherein the inner LED light panel is configured to display at least one sign when brake is applied, an array of light emitters disposed along a periphery of the geometric shaped main body to emit lights associated with the at least one sign, a laser unit disposed at the bottom of the geometric shaped main body, wherein the laser unit is configured to project laser line on the road relative to ending of the load to notify the following vehicle to maintain a safe distance from the laser line in order to avoid collision, and at least one connector that is configured to secure the main body onto load of the rear portion of a vehicle.

Abstract: A method of analyzing sentiments includes receiving one or more strings of text, identifying sentiments related to a first topic from the one or more strings of text, and assigning a sentiment score to each of the sentiments related to the first topic, where the sentiment score corresponds to a degree of positivity or negativity of a sentiment of the sentiments. The method further includes calculating an average sentiment score for the first topic based on the sentiment score for each of the sentiments related to the first topic, determining a percentile for the first topic based on a frequency of sentiments related to the first topic, where the percentile for the first topic is determined with respect to a maximum frequency of sentiments related to one or more other topics, and computing an X-Score based on the average sentiment score and the percentile of the first topic.

Abstract: The present invention provides floor mats possessing antipathogenic, cohesive, viscoelastomeric and adhesive attributes for removing foot and/or sole borne contaminants. A thermoset reaction product derived from a reaction media of a carefully balanced ratio of isocyanate prepolymer, polyether diols and triols, and organic plasticizers effectively provides a floor mat overlay for adhesively retaining and preventing the spreading of foot or sole borne pathogens and other contaminants.

Abstract: A lighting apparatus is provided including at least one light adhered to a releasably adhesive viscoelastic polymer component. The light may be disposed upon, or at least partially disposed within, the viscoelastic polymer. The viscoelastic polymer component has a unique adhesiveness and cohesiveness, which allows the lighting apparatus to be releasably adhered to a variety of objects. Upon release of the lighting apparatus from an object, the viscoelastic polymer component leaves substantially no residue remaining on the object. The lighting apparatus can then be re-adhered to the object with substantially the same degree of adhesiveness as when originally adhered. In addition, a variety of articles can be adhered to the lighting apparatus, as desired.

Abstract: Computing and communication systems and methods include one or more servers communicatively coupled with a computing device through a telecommunications network. In implementations one or more data stores are communicatively coupled with the server(s). One or more user interfaces displayed on the computing device display a website provided by the server(s) and accessed using a browser. A file selector is displayed on the website. The file selector corresponds with a file that may already reside on the computing device and/or on a file share accessible by the computing device. The file selector is configured to initiate opening of the file locally on the computing device without necessarily downloading a copy of the file through the browser. The systems and methods may automatically initiate calls and/or texts on non-cell phones (e.g., desk phones, turret type phones and/or VOIP phones) in response to selection of a phone number displayed on a website.

Abstract: A unique flexible container combination comprises a viscoelastomeric thermoset overlay disposed upon a flexible supportive base. Desirably, the viscoelastomeric thermoset overlay possesses exceptional adhesive, cohesive and releasability properties. In some embodiments, the flexible container combination can also exhibit antipathogenic, cleansability and/or reusability properties. The flexible container combination can maintain an adhered stowable item in an immobilized position until intentionally removed therefrom by a user. In some embodiments, the flexible container combination can be folded or rolled into a rolled-up configuration.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to securely transmitting, directly between two mobile devices, AES-256 encrypted file attachments which are decrypted within an application program (APP) using a decryption key that is available only to the APP. In an illustrative embodiment, the encrypted file may be attached to an e-mail. The e-mail may be transmitted directly to another mobile device via direct Wi-Fi, for example. The e-mail may be transmitted directly to another mobile device using Bluetooth, for example. In encrypted attachment may be deciphered only within the APP running on the receiving mobile device using a private key accessible to only the APP.

Abstract: Ammunition boxes may be equipped with a cohesive and adhesive shell restraining overlay adapted to restrain ammunition shells in a stabilized position. The shell restraining overlay provides sufficient adhesiveness to restrain a housed ammunition shell at a desired shell position, but allows for relatively effortless shell release without creating excessive movement or noise. The stabilizing overlay also stabilizes the shells from inadvertent spillage from the ammunition box.

Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods that enable the delivery of rich digital content over terrestrial base frequency modulated broadcast systems. The digitally rich content may include, but not limited to live or recorded video, command and control information. Access to the content may be on a free, pay-per-use, pay-per-view, or pay-per-broadcast or multicast method.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a non-tactile device including a receiving device configured to receive signals corresponding to a user's brain waves or movements, the brain waves or movements corresponding to a series of directional intentions, the intentions defining at least one line pattern, a processor configured to process the at least one line pattern, each of said at least one line patterns associated with an action of the device, and output a control signal to the non-tactile device related to the action.

Abstract: The invention provides a unique container combination comprised of a container equipped with a thermoset viscoelastomeric interfacing section which serves to confine items placed thereupon. The interfacing viscoelastomeric section may be chemically bonded to the container support or cohesively bonded thereto. The interfacing thermoset viscoelastomeric section adhesively immobilizes items placed thereupon while tenaciously clinging (chemically or adhesively) to the container supportive structure. Containers equipped with the thermoset viscoelastomeric section surprisingly create an aseptic environment especially adaptable to hygienic applications while also affording superior protection against impact damage.

Abstract: A dredge boom for towing a fishing dredge is described and includes an elongated beam having a multi-position ferrule and a series of attachment points to connect to support cables and one or more pulleys, the series of attachment points including at least a support line attachment point, a first pulley attachment point and a terminal end attachment point. A rod butt adapter may be removably connected to the elongated beam using the multi-position ferrule and is able to mount to a universal rod holder. A fishing dredge can then be attached to the dredge boom assembly using fishing line, the one or more pulleys and the attachment points.

Abstract: Hand trucks having a powered lifting assembly are disclosed. In certain aspects, hand trucks having a motor assembly and a battery pack mount arranged to removably receive a battery pack arranged for a portable tool are disclosed. Hand trucks having a pivoting rearward support are also disclosed, with particular arrangements advantageously pivoting the rearward support upwardly as it is configured into the retracted configuration so as to lift wheels of the rearward support above other wheels of the hand truck.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices that use assured calling sequences to validate proper application behavior. Validating calling sequences ensures that attackers have not modified the process' stack to gain control of the execution path for critical operations. The validation may involve mapping calling sequence addresses to modules or functions present in the process. Additionally, some embodiments relate to eliminating unnecessary code from various modules and controlling which modules can be loaded into a program.

Abstract: A removable heatsink assembly adapted to removably receive a pipe. The removable heatsink assembly includes a first plurality of fins and a second plurality of fins having collar flanges sized to receive a pipe. The fins are received on first and second spacer rods, respectively and are hingedly connected by a hinge rod such that the first and second plurality of fins are pivotally movable about the hinge rod between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the first and second plurality of fins are positionable over the pipe. In the closed position, the collar flanges of the first and second plurality of fins substantially surround the pipe. A fin clamp secures the first and second plurality of fins together in the closed position about the pipe.

Abstract: A security appliance includes: a network port enabling direct connection to a gateway; a storage module having stored thereon firmware for operating the security appliance; and a processor that executes the program code of the firmware. The firmware configures the appliance to: establish a seamless communication interface with a connected gateway; monitor traffic coming into and going out from the connected gateway; and identify traffic anomalies within the monitored traffic. The firmware further configures the appliance to: in response to identifying one or more of the traffic anomalies: forward information about the identified traffic anomalies to a centralized database for evaluation and reporting; and initiate steps to prevent further occurrence of the traffic anomalies, without user approval.

Abstract: A hand truck having a frame two short and two long sides; a wheel and axel assembly attached to the frame; a lifting assembly extending between the two short sides; said lifting assembly comprising a frame center pole rail having an attached gear rack, a gear box movably attached to the center pole, said gear box including, a toothed that meshes with the gear rack, a worm gear having a drive shaft that meshes with the toothed pinion, wherein rotation of the drive shaft causes the worm gear to drive the pinion along the gear rack; a lift bracket attached to the gear box comprising a receiving plate with at least one slot; and at least one removable lift platform comprising a platform plate with at least one key that is securely receivable into the slot; wherein the gearbox is drivable using a power supply supplied by a user.
