Abstract: A driver training system for presenting a user of the system with simultaneous representation of a driving environment directed to four active visual zones comprising a driver's forward view, rear mirror view, and respective left and right side mirror views; for displaying a traffic hazard one of the four active visual zones; receiving an input from a user of the driving simulator identifying a location in one of the four active visual zones; determining if the location corresponds to the traffic hazard; and determining a response time between the display of the traffic hazard and the receipt of the input from the user.
Abstract: The invention relates to a transdermal microneedle unit and a transdermal microneedle drug delivery device comprising the transdermal microneedle unit. The transdermal microneedle unit comprises a plurality of sheets stacked with each, each the sheet having at least one through hole defined thereon and a barbule arranged at the peripheral of the through hole, wherein the through hole on one sheet is penetrated by the barbules of other sheets and the barbules being juxtaposed to form at least one triangular pyramidal transdermal microneedle. The transdermal microneedle drug delivery device comprises a substrate, a transdermal microneedle unit, a union joint and an injection syringe.
Abstract: This invention provides a manufacturing method of a multi-component alloying steel with high strength and high wear-resistance and a hot rolled plate thereof. The weight percentages of the chemical composition of the wear-resistant steel above is as follows: C: 1.0-1.2%, Si: 0.6-1.0%, Mn: 8.0-10.0%, P<0.02%, S<0.02%, Cr: 1.5-2.5%, Mo: 0.2-0.5%, V: 0.6-1.0%, Nb: 0.02-0.06%, Ti: 0.01-0.1%, Al: 0.03-0.08%, and the rest are Fe and unavoidable impurities. The manufacturing process of the hot rolled plate of the wear-resistant steel includes the steel making, continuous casting, heating, hot rolling and heat treatment.
Abstract: A method of dyeing knitted fabrics and fabric and vamp fabric with predetermined color using the same are provided. The method includes steps of: providing a plain knitted fabric; entirely spray dyeing the fabric by dye liquor containing nano-particles through the printing and spraying process; executing a high temperature process or a steam process of a thermally drying process to the dyed knitted fabric so that the nano-particles can attach into the fabric of the knitted fabric, and forming the knitted fabric with the predetermined color after the knitted fabric is dyed. The fabric and the dyeing method provided can therefore reduce the production of sewage effectively.

Abstract: An elongate hollow structure and method of constructing the hollow structure is described, whereby the hollow structure includes a radially inner portion and a radially outer portion adapted to be merged together to form a tubular wall structure. The method includes providing the radially inner portion, providing the radially outer portion about the radially inner portion, wherein a space exists between the radially inner and outer portions, the space containing a gas therein, and expanding the inner portion. It provides a preparation process for a compound outlined as compound 4, which includes these operations: in one of the alcohol solvents, asymmetric hydrogenation of 5 in the presence of [Rh(Duanphos)(X)]Y and hydrogen to provide compound 4. Here “Duanphos” is (Rc,Sp)-Duanphos or (Sc,Rp)-Duanphos; X is NBD or/and COD; Y is one or more of BF4, PF6, SbF6. This process has a lot of advantages, such as low cost, safe operation, less pollution and high yield. The product was obtained in >99% purity and ee which is suitable to scale up in industrial scale.

Abstract: An umbrella includes a shaft including multiple inner tubes and an outer tube in which the multiple inner tubes are retractably received. Abstract: The present invention discloses a resistance force control structure of driven pulley device, which is pivot mounted on a wheel of a driven pulley device, and primarily uses damping oil or a magnetic force to achieve a resistance effect. The magnetic force portion can also be added to a gear structure to present another configuration of a resistance force control structure to achieve change in magnetic force to increase the stabilizing effect of a wheeled frame. Moreover, an adjustable mechanism enables the user to control changes in the height of the damping oil level or magnetic force strength to control the rotational speed of a wheel.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a metal protective net, including: multiple steel wires arranged in parallel; multiple metal connecting sheets arranged in parallel, where the metal connecting sheets and the steel wires are arranged to intersect with each other at multiple intersections without being connected; insulating members which are provided between the steel wires and the metal connecting sheets and located at the intersections, and fixedly connected therewith; and connecting terminals, where both ends of each steel wire each are connected with one connecting terminal, and both ends of each metal connecting sheet each are connected with one connecting terminal; and a monitoring device electrically connected with the connecting terminals. The steel wires and the metal sheets, which form the metal protective net, are not electrically conductive with each other, forming many individual loops. If the metal net is broken, an alarm can be sent by the monitoring device.

Abstract: An aircraft auxiliary fuel tank system comprising a master tank and a plurality of slave tanks fluidly connectable to the master tank in series. The slave tanks may each include a valve assembly comprising a biased plate that is movable for throttling fluid during a deceleration event when the slave tanks are connected to the master tank or other slave tanks. Abstract: An on-premises restaurant communication system for communicating a particular customer's table number to a food server at a central service station. Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID) tags are mounted on the underside of the restaurant's tables. The customer is provided with a pager having a pager ID associated with the customer's food order. The pager is modified to include an RFID reader and an RF transmitter. When the customer places the pager on a selected table, the RFID reader reads an RFID number from the table's RFID tag. The RF transmitter transmits the pager ID and RFID number to the central station, which uses this information to associate the food order with the table number. The table number is provided to the food server for delivery of the food order to the proper table.

The terpene resin-based aqueous binder includes a terpene resin emulsion including between 20 and 80 wt. % of a terpene resin, and the terpene resin emulsion has a viscosity of between 2000 and 10000 mPa·s.

Abstract: A locatable slab assembly for overlying a manhole cover located beneath a lowermost surface of a pavement. The locatable slab assembly includes a slab body, a tubular member, a protective plug, and an electronic marker. The slab body is deposed to permit a central line of the slab body in line with a center line of the manhole cover. The electronic marker is configured to permit a region of the pavement in alignment with the center line of the manhole cover to be located. Abstract: The present invention provides a ventilation system for improving air quality of an indoor space. The system includes sensors for measuring PM2.5 particle level P, CO2 level C, and TVOC level T in the indoor space. A control circuit is configured to receive P, C and T values and generate an output signal Vout according to a specific algorithm, which in turn controls speed-variable EC motors that drive ventilating fans. The invention exhibits numerous technical merits such as lower energy consumption, programmable operation, high efficiency, and lower noise, among others.
