Abstract: Multilayer lens particularly usable for sunglasses, having a main layer made of polycarbonate, cellulose acetate, or similar materials. A mirror reflecting layer is possibly coupled to the main layer or deposited thereon in vacuum by sublimation of appropriate substances, with the optional interposition of a layer of paint. The multilayer lens furthermore includes an outer layer that partially affects the outer surface of the lens. The lens may also include an inner antifogging layer that does not absorb moisture. This multilayer lens allows optimum vision to the user, eliminating or attenuating spurious incident rays at the lateral ends of the lens.
Abstract: The engagement device has a first seat having a longitudinal extension and formed in a first end of a lens of a pair of eyeglasses. A second seat, also formed in the first end of the lens, has an essentially circular configuration and communicates with the first seat. The engagement device also has a longitudinal bridge connected to a second end of a temple and a cylinder connected to the bridge. The bridge and the cylinder are interposed transversely between two wings formed at the second end of the temple. The bridge is accommodated in the first seat and the cylinder is accommodated in the second seat. The walls laterally delimiting the first seat may be manufactured at mutually different angles to each other according to the desired angle of the lens with respect to the temple.
Abstract: The hinge for eyeglasses, of the type including a lens-bearing front having two temples hinged thereto, has a shaped element and a support. The shaped element has a protruding tab defining an L-shaped base which can be detachably accommodated in a complementarily-shaped first seat formed in the end portion of a temple. The shaped element is detachably accommodated in a second seat formed in the support. Elastically deformable engagement members are connected to the support, for detachably connecting the support to a complementarily shaped third seat formed in a front.
Abstract: A carrier for watches is disclosed including a loop for engaging the clothing of a wearer and a hanger suspended by the loop. The hanger is dimensioned to support a watch inverted. In one embodiment, the hanger partially encloses and engages the outer surface of the watch case. In a second embodiment, the hanger engages a pin on the six o'clock position pin openings of a wrist watch (with strap removed). In another embodiment, the hanger encloses the watch in a clamshell like fashion. In still another embodiment, a molded hanger of flexible material such as rubber or flexible plastic is formed with a recess to receive a watch.
Abstract: Nose pad particularly for spectacle frames, which comprises a curved rigid element being shaped like an open triangle and has seats for temporarily engaging the frames. The nose pad comprises a first soft element that partially surrounds the rigid element and a second soft element which is associated with, and protrudes from, the ends of the rigid element. The second soft element is flexible towards the first soft element and has the same shape as the rigid element. This nose pad allows to reduce the surface in contact with the skin, improves ventilation, and cushions any accidental impacts without transmitting them to the nasal septum.
