Abstract: A luminaire having a housing with a column extending therefrom and a bracket secured to the column, the bracket having a body and two wings extending from opposing sides of the body, at least a portion of each wing extending in a direction at least partially away from the column. The mounting bracket allows installation of the luminaire to a structure, such as a ceiling or canopy, by inserting the luminaire column and bracket into an aperture in the structure from the underside of the structure. The aperture edge forces the wings to flex inward as the column advances through the aperture until the wings pass the aperture edge and spring outward to hold the luminaire to the structure. The mounting bracket thus facilitates quick attachment of the luminaire to the structure and allows attachment of additional mounting hardware to further secure the luminaire to the structure.

Abstract: Fixed frequency, fixed duration pulse streams are used to control power switches for one or more electrical motors of electrically powered vehicles or hybrid vehicles having one or more electric motors. The advantages of a pulse system are increased power efficiency and system simplicity over analog systems. The capability of system calibration with a single pulse allows the system to be used under any conditions, and real time adaptation to changes in conditions. Such system and methods provide much improved acceleration over other electrical systems, by making the best use of the coefficient of starting or static friction. The systems and methods provide a non slip traction control system, and the use of an off state in the pulse stream is superior to the use of braking systems for the same purpose, which waste power and cause mechanical wear. In addition, related computer program products are described.

Abstract: A reflector assembly for a lighting apparatus, the reflector assembly comprising two or more reflector modules configured for associating with one or more light sources, each reflector module comprising one or more reflectors for being located adjacent to alight source when the reflector module is associated with the one or more light sources, the one or more reflectors configured to reflect light from the adjacent light source. The reflector modules may further comprising a cover plate defining a plurality of light source apertures for allowing a light source to protrude through the cover plate, at least a first of the one or more light source apertures disposed adjacent to an overhead reflector and at least a second of the one or more light source apertures disposed adjacent to a lateral reflector. The reflector assembly can comprising any number of reflector modules and the reflector modules can be arranged in different configurations to create different light distributions with the same reflector modules.

Abstract: A display board is disclosed for displaying video or still images using light emitting diodes as pixels. The connections of one or more of the light emitting diodes to a carrying circuit board, for example by terminal legs, such that the connections of each light emitting diode are encased in separate pools of potting. Alternatively, each pool of potting could encase the connections of multiple light emitting diodes. The circuit board is associated with a frame and a louver. The louver has a panel and a flange about its perimeter and the flange extends to attach to the frame with a snap-fit attachment. The louver also provides one or more barbs extend from the louver panel through an aperture defined in the circuit board and snap-fits to the frame. The display board also provides a power supply having a power supply case that defines a mounting slot having an insert aperture with a width sized to allow a distal end of a mounting tab extending from the frame to pass through the power supply case.
