The smart nodes may also receive signals from legacy control devices, and map the received control signals to control signals that are compatible with the light fixtures. The smart nodes may transmit beacon signals having unique identifiers that are received by the mobile devices. The mobile devices may in turn communicate received signal strengths for the beacon signals back to the smart nodes.
