Abstract: A method for driving a display panel and a display apparatus. In the display panel, each pixel circuit includes an emitting control circuit, a drive transistor, and a first switch circuit, and each display frame includes a first bias adjustment stage. The method includes: controlling, in the first bias adjustment stage, the first switch circuit to transmit the first voltage signal to the terminal of the drive transistor. A duty ratio of an effective level of an emitting control signal in a first display frame of the display panel is different from the duty ratio of the effective level of the emitting control signal in a second display frame of the display panel. The first voltage signal in the first bias adjustment stage of the first display frame is not equal to the first voltage signal in the first bias adjustment stage of the second display frame.

Abstract: A radiopaque frame is transluminally advanced to an atrium of a heart of a subject. The frame is expanded within a valve adjacent the atrium such that part of the frame remains disposed in the atrium. While the frame remains expanded within the valve, progressive portions of an annuloplasty structure are progressively positioned and anchored around the annulus using multiple anchors by, for each of the anchors sequentially (i) while fluoroscopically imaging the frame and a distal end of a delivery tool, and facilitated by mechanical guidance from the frame, positioning the distal end of the delivery tool between the frame and a wall of the atrium; and (ii) driving the anchor into the annulus laterally from the frame. Subsequently, the frame is contracted and withdrawn from the subject while leaving the annuloplasty structure anchored around the annulus. Other embodiments are also described.
Abstract: A wood sheet according to the present disclosure includes a protective layer, a support layer, a wood material made of natural wood provided between the protective layer and the support layer, a first adhesive layer provided between the protective layer and the wood material, a second adhesive layer provided between the first adhesive layer and the wood material, a thermoplastic shape conforming layer provided between the wood material and the support layer, and the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are not integrated, and a boundary is provided between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer.
Abstract: The disclosure provides a mounting structure of an object detection device to a vehicle body capable of improving the accuracy of object detection by the object detection device and improving the durability of the object detection device. A mounting structure of a radar device, which is an object detection device for detecting objects, to a vehicle body, includes a cover member attached to the vehicle body side and covering at least a part of the radar device. The cover member is disposed on a first direction side, which is an object detection direction by the radar device when viewed from the radar device. The cover member includes a rib extending from the cover member in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The radar device is fixed to the rib.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an integrated circuit (IC) includes providing a structure having a fin over a substrate in a region of the IC, a sacrificial gate stack engaging a channel region of the fin, and gate spacers on sidewalls of the sacrificial gate stack. The first layers and the second layers are alternately stacked over the substrate. The method also includes etching the fin adjacent the gate spacers, resulting in source/drain trenches, partially recessing the second layers exposed in the source/drain trenches, resulting in gaps between adjacent layers of the first layers in the fin, depositing inner spacer features in the gaps in the fin, epitaxially growing source/drain features in the source/drain trenches, and replacing the sacrificial gate stack with a metal gate stack. The metal gate stack includes a gate dielectric layer disposed over top and sidewalls of the fin having both the first and the second layers.

Abstract: A system includes an indifferent electrode, electrical switching circuitry, and a processor. The indifferent electrode, which is configured for placement on a body of a patient, includes multiple electrically-conducting sub-electrodes that are electrically-insulated from one another. The electrical switching circuitry is configured to receive a control signal that specifies a selected subset of the sub-electrodes, and in response to electrically connect the selected subset, so as to close an electrical circuit passing through the body of the patient. The processor is configured to determine a required surface area of the indifferent electrode, select the subset of the sub-electrodes that together have the required surface area, and instruct the electrical switching circuitry to electrically connect the selected subset of the sub-electrodes.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an electronic device, in which a heat sink in the electronic device is multiplexed as a heat dissipation component and a radiator of an antenna. The heat sink provided by the embodiments of this application can be used as a heat dissipation component to distribute heat evenly, such as to cool down an overheated electronic element. In addition, the heat sink can be used as a radiator of an antenna to form an antenna unit with a feed unit and generate radiation to the outside. The heat sink in a first region can be used as a main radiator of the antenna unit to meet the demand for the number of antennas in a 5G wireless communication system, and can also be applied to other communication systems.

The method includes receiving, from a source base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message for a handover, the RRC reconfiguration message configuring a first data radio bearer (DRB) as a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) bearer and a second DRB as a non-DAPS bearer, for the first DRB, in case that an uplink data switching is requested from an upper layer, indicating, by a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity for the DRB, a PDCP data volume excluding a PDCP Control protocol data unit (PDU) associated with the source base station, to a medium access control (MAC) entity for a target base station, and for the second DRB, in case that an indication of PDCP re-establishment is set, performing a PDCP re-establishment for the second DRB.

Abstract: A semiconductor apparatus for pre-wetting a semiconductor workpiece includes a process chamber, a workpiece holder disposed within the process chamber to hold the semiconductor workpiece, a pre-wetting fluid tank disposed outside the process chamber and containing a pre-wetting fluid, and a conduit coupled to the pre-wetting fluid tank and extending into the process chamber. The conduit delivers the pre-wetting fluid from the pre-wetting fluid tank out through an outlet of the conduit to wet a major surface of the semiconductor workpiece, wherein the outlet of the conduit is positioned above the major surface of the semiconductor workpiece by a vertical distance.
Abstract: This application relates to a communication method and apparatus. A terminal device sends first uplink data to a network device. After sending the first uplink data, the terminal device monitors a first downlink control channel in a first search space in a first duration; and after the first duration ends, the terminal device monitors a second downlink control channel in a second search space in a second duration. A length of a periodicity of the second search space is greater than a length of a periodicity of the first search space. In this case, the terminal device monitors the second downlink control channel based on the second search space at a low frequency. Therefore, the second search space with a long periodicity is set, so that power consumption of monitoring the downlink control channel by the terminal device can be reduced.
