Abstract: A battery system includes a non-reference battery cell; a reference battery cell including a cathode, an anode, and a reference electrode; a potential measuring means configured to measure a reference potential of the anode relative to the reference electrode, of the reference battery cell, and to generate a signal corresponding to the reference potential; and a controlling means configured to receive the signal and to reduce, during a charging process of the battery system, a charging current applied to the battery system when the signal indicates that the reference potential is below a predetermined threshold voltage. The non-reference battery cell may be disposed at a first position in the battery system, and the reference battery cell may be disposed at a second position in the battery system, the second position being a position that has a lowest temperature, among the first and second positions, during the charging process.
Abstract: Provided are a high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet with excellent formability and a process for producing same. The steel sheet comprises, in mass %: 0.005 to 0.009% of C; 0.05% or less of Si; 0.3 to 0.8% of Mn; 0.06 to 0.09% of P; 0.01% or less of S; 0.005% or less of N; 0.1% or less of Al; 0.05 to 0.08% of Mo; 0.01 to 0.03% of Ti; 0.03 to 0.045% of Nb; 0.06 to 0.1% of Cu; 0.0015% or less of B; and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, and 95% or more of ferrite in terms of area fraction. The ferrite has an average grain size of 15 ?m or less, with ultrafine grains of 6 ?m or less occupying 5 to 10% in a 1 mm×1 mm, and the steel sheet has a surface nanohardness value of 1 to 1.5 GPa.
Abstract: A semiconductor device is provided. The semiconductor device includes a dielectric layer over a substrate and a contact structure embedded in the dielectric layer. The contact structure includes a diffusion barrier contacting the dielectric layer, the diffusion barrier including a titanium (Ti)-containing alloy. The contact structure further includes a liner on the diffusion barrier, the liner including a noble metal. The contact structure further includes a conductive plug on the liner.
Abstract: A uniaxial eccentric screw pump includes: a stator having an insertion hole with an inner peripheral surface being internally threaded; and a rotor being externally threaded and placed through the insertion hole. In a cross section, the rotor has a cross-sectional center displaceable in a reciprocating manner in a longitudinal direction of the insertion hole between a pair of turn positions along a center line extending in the longitudinal direction during eccentric rotation of the rotor. The rotor comes in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole in a lateral direction of the insertion hole. An interference amount between the rotor and the stator includes a first interference amount when the cross-sectional center is at one of the turn positions and a second interference amount when the cross-sectional center is at a central axis. The first interference amount is larger than the second interference amount.

Abstract: The present application relates to a method and a device system for producing feed stock of ethylene steam cracker and a nano-carbon material from waste plastics, and the method comprises: firstly, subjecting a waste plastic to thermal pyrolysis to obtain hydrocarbon oil and gas from thermal pyrolysis; then, subjecting the hydrocarbon oil and gas from thermal pyrolysis to gas-liquid separation to obtain crude plastic pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis gas; subsequently, subjecting the pyrolysis gas to decarbonization to obtain a nano-carbon material, and sequentially subjecting the crude plastic pyrolysis oil to hydrocracking and fractionating to obtain the feed stock of ethylene steam cracker. The device system comprises a thermal pyrolysis unit, a gas-liquid separation unit, a hydrocracking unit, a fractionating unit, and a decarbonization unit.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method of patterning a semiconductor wafer using extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL). The method includes receiving an EUVL mask that includes a substrate having a low temperature expansion material, a reflective multilayer over the substrate, a capping layer over the reflective multilayer, and an absorber layer over the capping layer. The method further includes patterning the absorber layer to form a trench on the EUVL mask, wherein the trench has a first width above a target width. The method further includes treating the EUVL mask with oxygen plasma to reduce the trench to a second width, wherein the second width is below the target width. The method may also include treating the EUVL mask with nitrogen plasma to protect the capping layer, wherein the treating of the EUVL mask with the nitrogen plasma expands the trench to a third width at the target width.
Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus for predicting a second color component block using a first color component block are provided. An image decoding method of the present invention comprises deriving a prediction parameter using the first color component block, and predicting the second color component block using the derived prediction parameter.

Abstract: Methods for determining a prediction value, an encoder and a decoder are provided. A bitstream is parsed to obtain a size and a coding mode of a current block. Reconstructed values of neighboring samples are acquired and the reconstructed values of the neighboring samples are filtered. A second constant value is calculated according to a bit depth value of a luma component of a sample in the current block. A difference between the second constant value and a first reference value in the reference value set is assigned as a first prediction input value in a prediction input value set. Other prediction input values in the prediction input value set other than the first prediction input value are determined. Prediction values of samples at specific positions in the current block are calculated. The prediction values are filtered to obtain prediction values of all samples in the current block.

Abstract: A method for an intra predicting process of a video block is provided. The method comprises: obtaining a predicted sample value for a sample of the current coding block; obtaining a scaling factor value according to an intra prediction mode for the current coding block, and according to a height of the current coding block and/or a width of the current coding block; determining a first weight based on the scaling factor value; determining a second weight based on the scaling factor value; calculating an additional value as a weighted sum of a top reference sample value and a left reference sample value, by weighting the top reference sample value with the first weight and weighting the left reference sample value with the second weight; obtaining a modified predicted sample value according to the additional value and the predicted sample value; and outputting the modified predicted sample.
