Abstract: A sensor belt may include a flexible substrate comprising a first portion arranged to face a wearer and a second portion arranged to face away from the wearer. At least one sensor may be disposed on the first portion of the flexible substrate. An electronics unit may be disposed on the second portion of the flexible substrate and electrically coupled to the at least one sensor. The first portion of the flexible substrate may be configured to flex independently of the second portion of the flexible substrate in some embodiments. The first portion of the flexible substrate and the second portion of the flexible substrate may define a channel in some embodiments.
Abstract: This invention relates to undergarments for use in active environments, where the wearer of such an undergarment is engaged in an activity that requires accelerating movements. In some preferred embodiments, these undergarments may be sports bras constructed from a stiffened or reinforced material and may include decoupled, damping cups for supporting breast tissue, and a fastening system incorporated into a reinforced underband that allows the wearer to more easily wear and remove the undergarment without compromising underband support.
