Abstract: A vehicle shield device is provided according to the invention. The vehicle shield device includes a hood protector region and hood attachment region. The hood protector region is constructed for extending across at least a portion of a vehicle hood for protecting the vehicle hood. The hood protector region includes at least one flexible region for allowing folding of the hood protector region. The hood attachment region is constructed for attaching the hood protector region to a vehicle hood. The hood attachment region includes a first hood attachment flange attached to at least a portion of the hood protector region and constructed for attaching to a left side of a vehicle hood, and a second hood attachment flange attached to at least a portion of the hood protector region and constructed for attachment to a right side of a vehicle hood. The hood protector region and the hood attachment region can be provided from a molded and continuous plastic sheet.

The windshield visor includes a forward wing, a first mounting plate, and a second mounting plate. The forward wing provides shading from sun light and shielding from precipitation, and has left and right wing tips, top and bottom surfaces, and leading and trailing edges. The first mounting plate is connected to the left wing tip of forward wing and attaches to a motor vehicle's driver side door frame. The second mounting plate is connected to the right wing tip of the forward wing and attached to the motor vehicle's passenger side door frame.

Abstract: A cab fairing for attachment to a pickup truck cab is provided. The cab fairing includes a left side panel, a right side panel, and a wing panel. The left and right side panels include a forward region having a forward edge for adhesive attachment to a pick up truck cab sidewalls provided beyond the pickup truck driver and passenger doors. The left and right side panels can additionally be adhesively attached to the pick up truck roof. The wing panel includes a forward region having a forward edge for adhesive attachment to the roof of the pickup truck cab. Preferably, the panels include a rearward region having a flange edge for adhesively attaching to the rear side of the pickup truck cab. A pickup truck having a cab fairing and a method for installing a cab fairing to a pickup truck cab are provided.

The apparatus includes rails for mounting on the opposed walls, and a covering material for covering the area between the opposed walls. The rails include ridges and channels which allow for adjustment of the tautness of the covering material between the opposed walls. The covering material includes a fabric for suspension between the opposed walls and has edges which include ridges and channels. The ridges and channels in the rails and the ridges and channels in the covering material are constructed and arranged to mate in order to provide a releasable connection.

Abstract: A winter front for the front grill of a motor vehicle comprises a plurality of separate panel elements each formed from a thin substantially rigid sheet of acrylic. Each panel can be separately clipped onto the front grill by a spring clip adhesively attached to the rear face of the panel element. In many arrangements the grill has recesses at openings therethrough with structural members across the recesses at a position recessed from the front face of the grill. The elements are separately inserted into respective ones of the recesses with the clips attaching to the structural elements across the grill. A shallow cut out at one edge of the acrylic sheet allows a key to be inserted behind the element to pull the element out of the recess in the grill for removal. The elements in combination cover effectively the whole of the openings in the grill to prevent air flow through the grill. One or more of the elements can be separately removed.
