Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing nickel microparticles in which the ratio of crystallite's diameter to the particle diameter of the nickel microparticles is controlled. At least two types of fluids to be processed are used, including a nickel compound fluid in which a nickel compound is dissolved in a solvent, and a reducing agent fluid in which a reducing agent is dissolved in a solvent. Sulfate ions are included in the nickel compound fluid, and polyol is included in the nickel compound fluid and/or the reducing agent fluid. The fluid to be processed is mixed in a thin film fluid formed between at least two processing surfaces (1, 2), at least one of which rotates relative to the other, and which are disposed facing each other and capable of approaching and separating from each other, and nickel microparticles are precipitated.

Abstract: A method of operation of a Multiprotocol Label Switching network involves, in an active node of the network, receiving a first data packet from a source node and forwarding the first data packet to a destination node. At the same time, the active node measures a residence time of the first data packet in the active node. The active node then sends a further data packet containing residence time information.

  • Patent number: 9809866
Abstract: This specification describes a process of producing a monomeric sugar stream ligno-cellulosic biomass without enzymes or acid catalysts. This is accomplished by removing the water soluble C5 sugars from the ligno-cellulosic biomass feedstream, lowering the pH of the C5 solution with little or no addition of an acid, thermally treating the remaining ligno-cellulosic biomass, combining the thermally treated ligno-cellulosic biomass with the low pH C5 solution and then exposing the mixture to an elevated temperature greater than 80° C. for a time sufficient to hydrolyze at least some of the components of the ligno-cellulosic biomass. Preferably, the thermally treated ligno-cellulosic biomass is subjected to a fiber shives reduction step to reduce the amount of long fiber shives.

Abstract: A method in a network node relating to a process of controlling a data transfer related to video data of a video streaming service from a server to a wireless device is provided. The network node and wireless device operates in a wireless communications network. The network node determines a scheduling weight value for the wireless device to be used in the data transfer based on a target rate scheduling weight value and a proportional rate fair weight value. The network node then determines a size of data segment to be used in the data transfer based on at least part of the scheduling weight value. The network node further determines a pending data volume for the transferring of the video data to a play back buffer of the wireless device based on at least part of the scheduling weight value.
