Abstract: Methods and arrangements for mitigating or avoiding inter cell interference on a control channel on which scheduling request are transmitted from UEs to a serving base station. The solution relates to classifying the UEs based e.g. on the type of services applied by the UEs, and allocating resources on the control channel based on the classification.
Abstract: Vector Quantizer and method therein for efficient vector quantization, e.g. in a transform audio codec. The method comprises comparing an input target vector s with a plurality of centroids, each centroid representing a respective class of codevectors in a codebook. Further, a starting point for a search related to the input target vector in the codebook is determined, based on the result of the comparison. The codevectors in the codebook are sorted according to a distortion measure reflecting the distance between each codevector and the centroids of the classes. The Vector Quantizer and method enables that the class of codevectors comprising the most probable candidate codevectors in regard of the input vector s may be searched first.

Abstract: A travel cooler, includes a body comprising a base, sidewalls, and a lid connected together to define an interior, insulated containment space for holding cooler items. A lengthwise dimension of the cooler extends between opposite ends of the cooler, and the body defines recessed exterior surface slots extending along a lengthwise extent of the cooler. The cooler further includes a U-shaped handle having two legs connected by a handle portion. The cooler is transitionable between a first configuration, in which the legs of the U-shaped handle extend a substantial length from the body of the cooler, and a second configuration, in which the legs of the U-shaped handle are received within the recessed exterior surface slots extending along a lengthwise extent of the cooler, the handle portion extending in close proximity to an end of the body of the cooler.

Abstract: A method may be provided for a device to device (D2D) transmitter to distinguish between different D2D synchronization signals, D2DSSs. The method may include transmitting a device to device synchronization signal (D2DSS) for a first service to a D2D receiver; and associating a first set of D2DSS physical layer parameters to the D2DSS for the first service. A second set of D2DSS physical layer parameters are associated to a D2DSS for a second service so that the D2DSS for the first service is distinguishable from the D2DSS for the second service.
