Abstract: A disperser includes an outer member having a tapered inner circumferential surface, an inner member having a tapered outer circumferential surface that faces the tapered inner circumferential surface, and a clearance adjustment part that allows a clearance distance between the tapered inner circumferential surface and the tapered outer circumferential surface to be adjusted by moving the outer member and the inner member relative to each other. A flow path is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the outer member and the outer circumferential surface of the inner member, through which fluid flows from one side to the other side. The flow path includes a dispersion region defined by the tapered inner circumferential surface and the tapered outer circumferential surface. The IPL light guiding device include handle for manual operation, a light source equipped inside a reflective casing, and an installment section formed below the light source, lens that is detachably coupled to the installment section, the lens forming three-dimensional body allowing light emitted from the light source to pass through and irradiate the bottom surface, bottom surface of the body including concentrating unit irradiated with light, and reflecting unit formed between the concentrating unit, which reflect light toward the concentrating unit, light emitted from the light source concentrated and irradiated onto the concentrating unit.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method in a policy node for handling a UEs access to a mobile communications network. The policy node comprises policy information for the UEs access rights to the mobile communications network. The policy node obtains, from a subscriber database, subscription information for a subscriber associated with the UE. Abstract: An embodiment includes a process for treating an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) endoleak with a shape memory polymer (SMP) foam device. First, a bifurcated stent graft is placed within the aneurysm while a micro guidewire is positioned within the aneurysm for future catheter access. Second, after placing the iliac graft extension, a catheter is introduced over wire to deliver embolic foams. Third, embolic foams expand and conform to the aneurysm wall. Fourth, embolic foams create a stable thrombus to prevent endoleak formation by isolating peripheral vessels from the aneurysm volume.

Abstract: This invention relates in part to soybean event pDAB8264.44.06.1 and includes a novel expression cassettes and transgenic inserts comprising multiple traits conferring resistance to glyphosate, aryloxyalkanoate, and glufosinate herbicides. This invention also relates in part to methods of controlling resistant weeds, plant breeding and herbicide tolerant plants. In some embodiments, the event sequence can be “stacked” with other traits, including, for example, other herbicide tolerance gene(s) and/or insect-inhibitory proteins. This invention further relates in part to endpoint TAQMAN® PCR assays for the detection of Event pDAB8264.44.06.1 in soybeans and related plant material. Some embodiments can perform high throughput zygosity analysis of plant material and other embodiments can be used to uniquely identify the zygosity of and breed soybean lines comprising the event of the subject invention. Kits and conditions useful in conducting these assays are also provided.

Abstract: Aqueous and solid ammonium sulfate fertilizers derived from an organic feedstock and a mineral sulfate compound. The aqueous fertilizers have at least 3.5% nitrogen and at least 4% sulfur, and the solid fertilizers have about 21% nitrogen and about 24% sulfur. Methods for producing the fertilizers include preparing an organic feedstock by causing organic waste to undergo anaerobic digestion, removing solids from the organic feedstock to produce an organic liquid effluent, performing a distillation process on the organic liquid effluent to strip and concentrate a vapor that contains ammonia, carbon dioxide, and water and cool the vapor to produce a condensed solution containing ammonium bicarbonate and/or ammonium carbonate, and contacting the condensed solution with the mineral sulfate compound to cause a reaction therebetween and produce an aqueous ammonium sulfate product. An evaporation process can be performed on the aqueous ammonium sulfate product to produce a dry, solid ammonium sulfate product.

Abstract: A modular fluid characterisation system is provided. The modular fluid characterisation system includes a sampling unit containing optional pre-processing units to condition samples, and a valve network to distribute samples to one or more characterisation modules. Each characterisation module includes one or more instruments for characterising samples, and optional additional pre-processing units. Characterising modules can be added or removed depending on operational requirements. Sample flows are controlled in accordance with an automated characterisation program, and resulting characterisation may be obtained on the basis of a combination of results from different characterisation modules with regard to the characterisation program.
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for using fuel-rich partial oxidation to produce an end product from waste gases, such as flare gas. In an embodiment, the system and method use air-breathing piston engines and turbine engines for the fuel-rich partial oxidation of the flare gas to form synthesis gas, and reactors to convert the synthesis gas into the end product. In an embodiment the end product is methanol.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cutter bar for chopping machines. The cutter bar includes a cutter bar body that defines an edge groove. The edge groove includes a groove bottom and a groove sidewall. The groove sidewall is formed by the material of the cutter bar body. A wear protection structure extends along a surface of the cutter bar body from the edge groove. The wear protection structure is built up on the surface of the cutter bar body as an additively manufactured metal powder application layer. At least one carbide strip is secured to the edge groove and forms the cutting edge. The carbide strip can be fastened to the edge groove by means of a bonding agent, such as solder or adhesive.
Abstract: Disclosed is a hub and a bearing which cooperate to hold a shaft in steady axial alignment with a rotor. In a preferred embodiment, the shaft is coupled to the rotor of a fluid gear pump. The gear pump is located in a pump assembly between a front cover and a rear casing. A hub receiving pocket is formed in the front cover, and the hub is connected to the front cover for receipt within the hub receiving pocket. The bearing is surrounded by the hub such that the shaft runs through the bearing to be coupled to the rotor of the gear pump. A pair of high pressure seals are located within the hub at which to surround the shaft and prevent leakage. The bearing being surrounded by the hub stabilizes the shaft to minimize wobbling in response to axial and radial loads to which the shaft is subjected while rotating.
