Abstract: The present exemplary embodiments relate to a graphite-based negative electrode material, a method of manufacturing the same, a negative electrode including the same, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The graphite-based negative electrode material according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a graphite oxide obtained by oxidizing a surface of first graphite, and a graphite coating including second graphite and low crystalline carbon positioned on a surface of the second graphite, wherein the graphite coating to the graphite oxide is 1/9 to 1/3.

Abstract: A heat exchanger includes three flow paths, a first flow path, a second flow path, and a third flow path, which turn spirally in the space formed between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder are provided. These flow paths are defined by an inner heat transfer body and an outer heat transfer body, and heat exchange is performed through the heat transfer bodies. The heat transfer bodies turn spirally, have a screw shape in an axial cross-sectional view, and are assembled into a screw shape. The flow path area of the first flow path is varied by changing the shapes of a male thread and a female thread, and the second flow path and the third flow path are formed in a spiral shape, allowing for exchange of heat through the heat transfer bodies.
Abstract: An integrated circuit in a transmitter includes a multi-lane interface, N signal generating circuits, a lane selection circuit and a control circuit. The multi-lane interface has N lanes. M of the N signal generating circuits are configured to generate M clock signals respectively. (N-M) of the N signal generating circuits are configured to generate (N-M) data signals respectively. The lane selection circuit is configured to select M of the N lanes as M clock lanes by coupling the M clock signals to the M clock lanes respectively, and couple one of the (N-M) data signals to one of remaining (N-M) lanes, serving as (N-M) data lanes, according to a data select signal. The control circuit is configured to generate a data select signal according to a lane identifier of the one of the (N-M) lanes. The data select signal has a signal value mapping to the lane identifier.
Abstract: A soft magnetic powder composition for an inductor core comprises 60 to 80 wt % Fe—Ni alloy powder, 5 to 25 wt % Fe—Si alloy powder, and 10 to 30 wt % Fe—Si—Al alloy powder based on a total alloy powder and a method of manufacturing the inductor uses the soft magnetic powder composition.

Abstract: An example system for extraterrestrial deployment of a flexible membrane surface includes a flexible membrane having a periphery and an interior. The flexible membrane is rolled about a roll axis into a cylindrical geometric shape in an undeployed state. A payload base has extendable radial booms, wherein the distal end of each extendable radial boom is attached to the periphery of the flexible membrane and the interior of the flexible membrane is free of attachment to the extendable radial booms. The payload base and the extendable radial booms are positioned to one side of the flexible membrane along the roll axis. The extendable radial booms are configured to extend orthogonally to the roll axis from the payload base to unroll the flexible membrane about the roll axis to form the flexible membrane surface in a deployed state, wherein the roll axis is substantially orthogonal to the flexible membrane surface.
Abstract: A filter for treating a fluid in a piping of a heating and/or cooling system, in particular of domestic and/or industrial type, includes: a main body internally having at least one chamber, a first mouth and a second mouth respectively comprising a first duct and a second duct allowing the fluid to enter and/or exit the at least one chamber, wherein the first mouth has a first longitudinal axis and the second mouth has a second longitudinal axis, in particular the second mouth being positioned on the main body in such a way that its second longitudinal axis is substantially perpendicular to the first longitudinal axis of the first mouth; a filtering element for treating the fluid, housed at least partially in the chamber, in particular the filtering element having at least one magnetic element adapted to intercept and trap the ferrous impurities that are present in the fluid to be treated.
Abstract: A method for identifying, locating, and mapping targets of interest using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) camera footage in GPS-denied environments. In one embodiment, the method comprises obtaining UAV visual data, passing the UAV visual data through a convolutional neural network (CNN) in order to detect targets of interest based on visual features disposed in the UAV visual data, wherein the detection by the CNN defines reference points and pixel coordinates for the UAV visual data, applying a geometric transformation to known and defined pixel coordinates to obtain real-world orthogonal positions; and projecting the detected targets of interest onto an orthogonal map based on the obtained real-world orthogonal positions, all without GPS data.
Abstract: Novel compounds and methods of using the compounds and compositions to treat pancreatic cancer are presented. Novel compounds N-(5-fluoro-2-oxo-1-(tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyrimidin-4-yl)octanamide and N-(5-fluoro-2-oxo-1-(tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyrimidin-4-yl)dodecanamide are provided. The compounds have been shown to induce cytotoxicity in pancreatic cancer cells and can serve as a novel oral treatment for pancreatic cancer.

Abstract: A stool includes a base with a post extending therefrom. A seat is connected to a distal end of the post. In some configurations, the seat may be configured to act as a deployable back rest. A deployable anti-fatigue mat is connected to the base. In some configurations, the deployable anti-fatigue mat is attached to the base via a hinged connection. Abstract: The present invention discloses a Fe—Al intermetallic compound filter element and a preparation method thereof, which relates to the field of powder metallurgy and filtration technology. In view of the drawback in the prior art that using a fiber felt as a filtration layer reduces stability and reliability of a filter, the present invention provides an Fe—Al intermetallic compound filter element, which comprises: at least two filter-element parts, and a rebar connecting the at least two filter-element parts transversely by means of welding, wherein, the filter-element parts each comprises at least two segments of Fe—Al intermetallic compound filter-element powder tube and a connector connecting the at least two segments of Fe—Al intermetallic compound filter-element powder tube end-to-end by means of welding; and wherein, the at least two segments of Fe—Al intermetallic compound filter-element powder tube each comprises a substrate framework and a surface filtration membrane.
Abstract: [Problem] To enable the desired number of channels to be listened to at a lower cost and without wasting resources. [Solution] Process multi-channel digital audio signals by coordinating between a plurality of AV amp devices 1. An operation terminal 5 assigns audio channels to be processed, to each AV amp device 1, and, on the basis of the signal processing time for each AV amp device 1, determines an output delay time for each AV amp device 1 so that the output timing for analog audio signals matches for all AV amp devices 1. Each AV amp device 1 decodes input digital audio signals into analog audio signals for audio channels assigned to that AV amp device 1 by the operation terminal 5 and delays the output of the decoded analog audio signal, by the output delay time for that AV amp device 1 determined by the operation terminal 5.
Abstract: A gas stem assembly is disclosed including a vent tube having at least one protrusion extending radially from the vent tube and a receiver having a non-circular opening and an attachment surface at an end of the non-circular opening. The vent tube is at least partially insertable through the non-circular opening of the receiver when the vent tube and the at least one protrusion are aligned with the non-circular opening. The attachment surface of the receiver contacts the at least one protrusion to inhibit the at least one protrusion from passing back through the non-circular opening when the at least one protrusion is misaligned with the non-circular opening.
Abstract: An apparatus for converting heavy hydrocarbons to light hydrocarbons includes an inlet capable of supplying a pre-foaming mixture comprising a hydrocarbon to be processed and a processing gas, wherein the processing gas is dissolved in the hydrocarbon to be processed; a foam generator configured to receive the pre-foaming mixture at a first pressure, compress the pre-foaming mixture to a second pressure that is higher than the first pressure by routing it through a nozzle; and generate a foam by allowing the pre-foaming mixture at the second pressure to expand in a chamber at a third pressure that is lower than the first or second pressures; a plasma reactor, wherein the plasma reactor is capable of receiving the foam and comprises at least one pair of spark gap electrodes capable of subjecting the foam to a plasma discharge to yield a processed mixture; and an outlet capable of receiving the processed mixture.

Abstract: A sweeping device works on a track formed of rails and sleepers.
