  • Patent number: 10328554
Abstract: A cleanable reversible socket and driver for a hex head fastener having a driver shank with a hex shaped shaft, or otherwise splined, having a tool mounting end and a socket mounting end and a collar therebetween. A cleanable reversible socket is provided having a hex, or otherwise splined, passage therethrough rotationally lockable with the similarly shaped driver shank shaft. The socket is removably, nonrotatably mountable onto the driver shank shaft at the socket mounting end up to the collar having two different sized hex socket ends. A magnet on the socket mounting end of the driver shank is to be located at a bottom of one of the two hex socket ends when the socket is mounted on the driver shank to hold the hex head fastener in one of the socket ends.

  • Patent number: 9649702
Abstract: A 360° rotatable drill shear attachment has a housing with forward extending shear blades and a rearward extending drive bit connectable to a chuck of a portable hand drill. A cowling is fixed to a mounting flange and rearward of the shear housing protectively covering the drive bit and drill chuck. A circular clamp is rotatable and securable to the mounting flange. Left and right rails slide-ably adjust lengthwise and pivotally extend from the clamp along the left and right sides of the drill body to a point beyond the rear of the drill body to a drill rear end. A connector adjustably is fastened to the rear ends of the rails to adjustably draw the ends together for securing the shear attachment to the drill body. The clamp may be loosened to rotate the mounting flange of shear attachment, and shear blades, within the clamp for shear blade orientation anywhere along a 360° axial arc.

  • Patent number: 6289709
Abstract: A gutter outlet punch for punching an outlet in a rain gutter. The gutter outlet punch has a female die and a male cutting die mating with the female die with the rain gutter positioned therebetween. The male cutting die is attached to a rod. A ratchet permits incremental, one way movement of the male cutting die toward the rain gutter. A ratchet handle permits one-handed operation of the ratchet. A ratchet release allows the male cutting die to be moved away from the rain gutter. An alignment mechanism permits alignment of the rain gutter with the male cutting die in two alternate orthogonal orientations. A housing surrounds the female die and encloses the male cutting die to prevent contact with the operator when the apparatus is not in use. An automatic mechanism ejects the punched-out slug from the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6240764
Abstract: The J-channel siding tool is preferably used to cut tabs or notches or a miter finishing cut in J-channel vinyl or aluminum siding in perpendicularly adjacent pieces proximate to the corners of doors or windows of a building, through the one cut operation of the tool by an individual. The J-channel siding cutter includes a pair of pivotally interconnected handles, a first cutter having a pair of first cutting surfaces and a first traverse cutting surface on one of the handles, and a second cutter having a pair of second cutting surfaces and a second traverse cutting surface on the other handle. The second traverse cutting surface is recessed with respect to the first traverse cutting surface to enable an individual to selectively determine, in one cut, whether to create a tab or notch within J-channel siding. The first cutter may also include a stop for defining a uniform length of tab or notch.
