    Abstract: In a stent which joins a plurality of stent components by a strut, even when the repeated bending acts on the stent for a long period, the breaking of the strut can be prevented. In a stent 1 having a joining portion 7 which integrally joins a stent main wire 2 and a strut 4, the stent main wire 2 and the strut 4 are fitted into a restraining pipe 8 in a non-joining portion of the stent main wire 2 and the strut 4 near the end of the joining portion 7. The relative movement of the stent main wire 2 and the strut 4 is restrained. The amount of movement of the strut 4 relative to the stent main wire 2 can be decreased to reduce fatigue.

In a method for grinding a treatment device, one end portion of a tapered grinding raw material is inserted between a grinding surface of a grindstone and a pressing surface of a press block, and finishing surfaces opposite each other while having a predetermined dimension, shape, and angle are ground so that a direction in which abrasive grains of the grindstone run corresponds to a direction of a shaft center. At this point, before the finishing surfaces are ground in the predetermined dimension, shape, and angle which are previously set corresponding to an objective reamer, pre-grinding is performed while a necessary finishing margin with respect to at least one of the surfaces, and then finishing grinding is performed to the other surface.

    Abstract: In an eyeless sewing needle, a periphery of an axial hole at the base end is heated to make a fibrous structure be a granular structure without directionality, and at least a part of a heat-affected zone made between the fibrous structure and the granular structure due to the heating is within a range that is three times the diameter of the sewing needle and that extends from an effective base of the axial hole towards the needlepoint. This allows provision of a flexible sewing needle so that the hole periphery can be processed while keeping a hard state at the position of the needlepoint slightly away from the axial hole.

The dental grinding tool is made by forming a chamferred part on the end portion of a columnar metal base 10, and fixing abrasive grains 2 onto the end face 10a of the metal base 10, wherein all of the abrasive grains 2 exist inside the outer circumferential line 10d of the end face 10a of the metal base 10. Grinding is performed only by the end face 10a. When a boundary part between teeth and gums is ground, only a chamferred part 10c which have no abrasive grains comes in contact with the gums. Therefore, the damage to the gums is prevented.
