Abstract: A machine for sorting workpieces belonging to different classification classes, including a frame, a loading device, a plurality of outputs for the different classification classes, conveyor apparatus to direct the workpieces to the relevant outputs and control apparatus adapted to receive signals responsive to the classes of workpieces in order to actuate the conveyor apparatus, said conveyor apparatus including a first slide moving from a position for loading the workpiece to be sorted to a position adjacent to an output corresponding to the class of the workpieces, said slide including workpiece stops adapted to allow the unloading of the workpiece onto a relevant output after its positioning in the position adjacent to the output, the control apparatus being adapted to realize the positioning of the slide in the loading and unloading positions.

Abstract: A gauging head for checking linear dimensions of mechanical pieces includes a tubular outer casing having a square perimeter cross-section and an arm-set with a flat support element fixed to an internal side of the tubular casing. A movable arm supported by the support element passes through one of the ends of the tubular casing and carries a contact feeler movable substantially along a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal geometrical axis defined by the casing.

Abstract: Apparatus for checking linear geometric dimensions of the raceway of a ball bearing ring. A base supports a rotatable plate, which makes a ring rotate about its geometrical axis, and a mobile arm which applies to gauging heads a reciprocating motion along the transversal direction of the raceway. The gauging heads have relevant feelers which, due to the motion of the gauging heads and the rotation of the ring, contact the raceway surface along lines having an oscillating form. The gauging heads provide signals responsive to the radial dimensions of the ring in correspondence with the raceway. The signals provided by the gauging heads are processed by electronic circuits for obtaining signals responsive to said geometric dimensions, for example signals indicating the raceway minimum diameter.
