  • Patent number: 9784436
Abstract: A framing system for shaping light beam comprises a frame support having a number of shutter blades surrounding said light beam, and a number of actuators that move said shutter blades in and out of said light beam. The shutter blades form a merged pile, where part of a first shutter blade is placed over a part of a second shutter blade. A first actuator rotates at least one of said shutter blades in relation to a first rotational point and a second actuator moves the first rotational point in relation to said light beam. A method of shaping a light beam is provided, and involves rotating a shutter blade around a first rotation point using a first actuator, and moving the first rotation point in relation to the light beam using a second actuator.

  • Patent number: 9781779
Abstract: An illumination device with a number of light sources arranged in at least two groups of light sources that are individually controllable. The first group of light sources (203) have light collectors (209) such as internal reflection (TIR) lenses, mixers or other lenses placed over them to collect and convert light of the light sources into a number of light source beams. The second group of light sources (205) pass light through diffusing areas (215) of a diffuser (213) in the form of a diffusion cover included in the lamp housing to diffuse the light and create a background light for the first group of light sources. The light from the first group of light sources pass through non diffusing regions (211) of the diffuser cover without the light being diffused. The second group of light sources are interleaved with the first group by the diffuser having one or several diffusion areas between non diffusion areas.

  • Patent number: 9752748
Abstract: An illumination device comprising a plurality of light sources emitting, an optical gate; a light collector, an optical gate, and an optical projecting system adapted to image the optical gate at a distance along the optical axis. The light collector is adapted to collect light from a plurality of light sources and where the light collector comprises a plurality of lenslets collecting light from the light sources and convert the light into a plurality of light beams propagating along an optical axis. The lenslets are arranged in a dense pattern. A plurality of outermost adjacent lenslets is located along an outer circular boundary having the same radial distance to a center of the light collector. The dense pattern has been obtained by optimizing a packaging density defined by a ratio of a sum of areas of circular cross sections of the lenslets and an area of the outer circular boundary.
