The light collector is adapted to collect light from a plurality of light sources and where the light collector comprises a plurality of lenslets collecting light from the light sources and convert the light into a plurality of light beams propagating along an optical axis. The lenslets are arranged in a dense pattern including adjacent lenslets, where the lenslets of at least some of the pairs of the adjacent lenslets have different optical power and wherein the exit surfaces of the pairs of the adjacent lenslets having different optical power meet along a boundary.

The present invention relates further to a method of shaping a light beam comprising the steps of rotating a shutter blade around a first rotation point using a first actuator and moving the first rotation point in relation to the light beam using a second actuator.
