  • Patent number: 11790373
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for processing recurring payment transactions. In various embodiments, the system receives details of the set of recurring payment transactions and stores the details in a recurring transaction details table. The system generates a virtual payment instrument and associates it with the consumer's payment instrument. The system transmits the virtual payment instrument to the consumer. The system then generates a set of payment tokens for the set of recurring transactions and links the tokens to the virtual payment instrument. Each token is associated with a discrete recurring period. The system encodes each token with a sequence of values and stores the tokens in the recurring payment token table. The system receives a recurring transaction request that includes the virtual payment instrument. The system validates the request against a token associated with the recurring period, processes the transaction, and deletes the token.

  • Publication number: 20230327863
Abstract: A method of providing a secure service at a computing node is described. The secure service is for a requesting party external to the computing node. The following steps take place at the computing node. A service request is received from the requesting party. This service request comprises a request to generate a credential. The credential is then generated, and service-related information is obtained. The credential and the service-related information are encrypted using an encryption process to form an encrypted message part. A service-identifying clear message part is also created, and a message is sent comprising the clear message part and the encrypted message part to the requesting party. Methods of using such a message to validate the credential, and of using such a message to confirm the integrity of service-related information held in the message, are also described, as is computing apparatus adapted to carry out one or more of these methods.

  • Patent number: 11783332
Abstract: A method and a system for facilitating secure card-based transactions are provided. A payment network server stores a mapping database that is indicative of a mapping between actual card data of a transaction card and a plurality of proxy datasets that are stored in the transaction card. The payment network server receives a transaction request for a transaction that is initiated by way of the transaction card. Instead of the actual card data, the transaction request includes a first proxy dataset as an identifier to the transaction card. The payment network server accesses the mapping database and retrieves the actual card data mapped to the first proxy dataset. The payment network server then communicates the transaction request having the actual card data to an issuer of the transaction card. The issuer processes the transaction based on the actual card data.

  • Patent number: 11783015
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing personal identifying information (PII). An exemplary method includes receiving, from a requestor, a request to remove PII for at least one individual from multiple service providers. In response, a computing device authenticates the requestor, determines whether a restriction on the PII or the individual applies to the request, and broadcasts the request to the service providers. The computing device receives a response to the request from each of the service providers indicating removal of the PII and compiles a reply to the request, based on each response, where the reply includes a confirmation of removal of the PII. The computing device then transmits the reply to the requestor and logs the request from the requestor and the response from each of the services providers in an audit data structure, thereby permitting compliance with PII controls to be demonstrated.

  • Patent number: 11775364
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for correlating messages between disparate interfaces, channels, and/or networks. One example computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a service computing device, a request from a user relating to at least one service associated therewith and compiling a message consistent with a first message standard based on the request. The method also includes requesting a global unique identifier (GUID) for the request from a generator, where the generator compiles the GUID and returns the GUID to the service computing device, and serializing the GUID and the compiled message to form a serialized message in which the compiled message defines a first parameter and the GUID defines a second parameter. The method then includes transmitting the serialized message to a message gateway, whereby the GUID is provided with the compiled message, while maintaining the compiled message consistent with the first message standard.

  • Patent number: 11775961
Abstract: Ordering and purchasing processes are integrated into a messaging session between a user device and a merchant server. Within the messaging session, a dialogue is established between the user device and the merchant server. The merchant server obtains user information in order to communicate with a service provider to establish a transaction with an account associated with the user device. The merchant server obtains order information from the user device by interpretation of the dialogue, and creates an order. The user requests payment, and receives a payment link from the merchant server in order to make a transaction. The user provides payment information including identification of the account associated with the user device for the transaction to the merchant server. Once these actions have taken place, the merchant server uses the order information and the payment information to enable the transaction to be performed using the account.

  • Publication number: 20230306416
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to methods, apparatuses, computer readable media and systems for providing, along with a token, a token assurance level and data used to generate the token assurance level. At the time a token is issued, one or more Identification and Verification (ID&V) methods may be performed to ensure that the token is replacing a PAN that was legitimately used by a token requestor. A token assurance level may be assigned to a given token in light of the type of ID&V that is performed and the entity performing the ID&V. Different ID&Vs may result in different token assurance levels. An issuer may wish to know the level of assurance and the data used in generating the level of assurance associated with a token prior to authorizing a payment transaction that uses the token.
