  • Patent number: 11769152
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes enabling authentication of a user's identity based on a user identification (ID) token. An enrollment request is received by an identity platform from a computing device of the user. The enrollment request includes face data and payment account data associated with a payment account of the user. A face identification template of the user is generated based on the face data. Based on verifying the user's identity using data in the enrollment request, an ID token is generated including the face identification template and the payment account data. The ID token is then provided to the computing device of the user, wherein the computing device is enabled to verify the user's identity based on comparison of the captured image data of the face of the user to the face identification template of the ID token during transactions associated with the computing device.

  • Patent number: 11765020
Abstract: Networks and methods are provided for use in directing retry requests for content based on intervals to retry defined by network conditions. One example method generally includes receiving, from a computing device, an application programming interface (API) request for content and determining whether the API request exceeds a predefined rate limit of API requests. The method then includes, in response to the API request exceeding the predefined rate limit, calculating a retry interval for the API request based on the predefined rate limit of API requests and a number of expected API requests for an upcoming interval, appending the retry interval to a failure notice, and transmitting the failure notice to the computing device thereby indicating to the computing device to retry the API request based on the retry interval rather than immediately or rather than at another preset interval of the computing device.
