  • Publication number: 20090323033
Abstract: An output of a load voltage detector is read by an A/D converter, and a reference value Is and a switching frequency are decided by a microcomputer. In order that the decided switching frequency can be achieved, a SET signal is inputted from a switching frequency counting unit to a drive controller, and a switching element is turned on. When a current flowing through the switching element, which is detected by a resistor, exceeds the reference value Is of a reference arithmetic unit, a RESET signal is inputted from a current detector to the drive controller, and the switching element is turned off. Thereafter, the reference value Is and the switching frequency are set so that the switching element can be turned on at the next time at timing when a regenerative current of a diode turns to substantial zero.

  • Publication number: 20090301556
Abstract: Disclosed is a multilayer organic solar cell having a structure wherein an inter-layer (3) is arranged between a first photoactive layer (1) and a second photoactive layer (2). This structure is obtained by forming the inter-layer (3) on the first photoactive layer (1) which is formed from an organic compound solution containing a donor material and an acceptor material, and then applying an organic compound solution containing a donor material and an acceptor material over the inter-layer (3) for forming the second photoactive layer (2). The inter-layer (3) is composed of at least either of a transparent oxide and a transparent nitride. By having such a structure, the inter-layer (3) prevents the solvent in the solution for the second photoactive layer (2) from permeating into the first photoactive layer (1) when the second photoactive layer (2) is formed over the first photoactive layer (1) by applying the solution.

  • Publication number: 20090266570
Abstract: An impact tool for simultaneously providing a rotational force and an impact force to an object has an output shaft rotated by a motor, hammer for intermittently providing an impact force to the output shaft, hammer holder for movably holding the hammer, and an impact force generator for generating the impact force from an output of the motor. An air chamber is formed between the hammer and the hammer holder such that a volume of the air chamber is variable in response to a position of the hammer relative to the hammer holder. In addition, the hammer receives a bias force generated in a direction toward the output shaft by a biasing device. This bias force effectively increases the impact force in cooperation with an air pressure caused by a volume change of the air chamber.

  • Publication number: 20090268095
Abstract: An image display apparatus includes a projector 2 receiving an image signal and projecting image light and a screen 1 including a projection plane of arbitrary shape. The projector 2 and screen 1 are connected with link mechanisms 3a to 3c and link mechanisms 3b and 3d. The relative position and posture between the projector 2 and the screen 1 are automatically or manually changeable. The relative position and posture between the projector 2 and the screen 1 are measured, and correction parameters for correcting distortion of image light projected from the projector 2 onto the screen 1 are calculated from the previously set viewing position of the viewer and the shape of the projection plane of the projector 2. Based on the calculated correction parameters, the image signal inputted into the projector 2 is subjected to distortion correction processing. It is therefore possible to allow the viewer to see a clear image even if the position of the screen is changed.
