Abstract: A chuck is provided for retaining the shank of a tool bit or accessory, having a fixed diameter, inserted in a central channel at a distal end of the chuck. At least one torsion spring is mounted axially within a housing and has an inner dimension and shape comparable to the shank's outer dimension and shape. A mechanism winds and unwinds the torsion spring to respectively grip or release said shank, the winding being in a rotational direction consistent with a normal operating rotational direction of said chuck such that said shank tends to further wind the torsion spring for further self-tightening in normal operation.

Abstract: The drop-bin unit has at least several bins arranged to pivot outwardly about a generally horizontal axis, from a closed position where outer faces of the bins are generally aligned vertically with each other, to an open position where the outer surfaces angle outwardly from their closed positions. The bins are stacked one above another within a housing, and are connected together, for example via at least one gang bar, such that pivoting one bin outwardly causes all of the bins to pivot outwardly in unison. The units may be sold separately, for use as stand-alone containers, or may be sold to be placed in a holder which holds one or preferably a number of the units. The holder can be sold with one or more of the units, or may be sold as a completely separate item. The holder can take a variety of forms The units on their own or in holders provide flexibility for carrying job-specific items, avoiding the need to carry an entire toolbox to a particular job.
Abstract: A spade drill bit has a shaft and a spade head portion arranged on the shaft. The head portion has a rearward facing bottom edge, two longitudinal sides and a forward facing cutting edge. The cutting edge has a pointed, generally triangularly shaped tip and outer ends. The longitudinal sides of the head portion are bent along a bend in a direction of rotation of the drill bit during operation, so that the outer ends are bent forwards in the rotating direction. The bend runs from a first position at one of the longitudinal sides, closer to the bottom edge than to the cutting edge, and to a second position at the cutting edge between the outer end and the tip.
Abstract: A point-of-sale security system is provided herein. The security system includes a container for containing the product and a holder assembly, the holder assembly including a closure device for closing the container. The holder assembly and the container are operatively coupled together by means of cooperative members. The cooperative members being configured in a special way, i.e., when an associated stop member is enabled, the cooperative members prevent decoupling of the holder assembly from the container, and when the stop member is disabled, the cooperative members enable decoupling of the holder assembly from the container.
