Abstract: A multimedia device is configured to process video data via a related method. The multimedia device includes a processor in communication with a panel. The processor is configured to output the video data to the panel when being switched into a video unmute mode, and further to not output the video data to the panel when being switched into a first video mute mode. The processor is further configured to execute media retrieval and visual processing in response to the first video mute mode.
Abstract: A semiconductor package structure includes a substrate having a substrate having a first surface and second surface opposite thereto, wherein the substrate comprises a wiring structure. The structure also has a first semiconductor die disposed on the first surface of the substrate and electrically coupled to the wiring structure, and a second semiconductor die disposed on the first surface and electrically coupled to the wiring structure, wherein the first semiconductor die and the second semiconductor die are arranged in a side-by-side manner. A molding material surrounds the first semiconductor die and the second semiconductor die, wherein the first semiconductor die is separated from the second semiconductor die by the molding material. Finally, an annular frame mounted on the first surface of the substrate, wherein the annular frame surrounds the first semiconductor die and the second semiconductor die.

Abstract: A context-based adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC) decoder includes a bin decode circuit and a context update circuit. The bin decode circuit supports decoding of multiple bins in one cycle. The multiple bins include a first bin and a second bin. The bin decode circuit generates a bin value of the first bin according to a first set of multiple contexts, a first range and a first offset, and generates one bin value of the second bin according to a second set of multiple contexts, a second range and a second offset. The context update circuit updates the first set of multiple contexts in response to the bin value of the first bin, to generate a first set of multiple updated contexts, and updates the second set of multiple contexts in response to said one bin value of the second bin, to generate a second set of multiple updated contexts.
Abstract: An envelope tracking system includes an envelope tracking digital baseband (ETDBB) circuit, a digital-to-analog converter circuit, and an envelope tracking supply modulator (ETSM) circuit. The ETDBB circuit performs envelope detection upon a transmit (TX) baseband signal to generate an envelope detection result, and generates a digital envelope input according to the envelope detection result. The digital-to-analog converter circuit converts the digital envelope input into a supply envelope signal. The ETSM circuit generates a modulated supply voltage according to the supply envelope signal, and outputs the modulated supply voltage to a power amplifier. At least one of the ETDBB circuit and the ETSM circuit dynamically adjusts gain compression (GC) of the PA in response to a number of active resource blocks (RBs) in a channel bandwidth.

Abstract: A method for performing mode switching management in multi-link operation (MLO) architecture and associated apparatus are provided. The method applicable to a wireless transceiver device communicating with another device within a wireless communications system may include: executing a mode switching procedure regarding a predetermined MLO-related mode in a first protection period dedicated to the mode switching procedure, so that no other transmission request is received during the first protection period, where the first protection period is equal to or longer than the time spent on executing the mode switching. The mode switching procedure may include sending a protection indication in a first communications frame from the wireless transceiver device to the other device that informs the other device not to send any transmission request, or the wireless transceiver device may perform information exchange in advance to notify the other device of mode switch processing delay as the first protection period.
Abstract: The present invention provides a control method of an AP, wherein the control method includes the steps of: establishing a link with at least one station, wherein the link uses a bonded channel including a plurality of Wi-Fi channels, and one of the plurality of Wi-Fi channels serve as a primary channel of the AP; obtaining channel information of another AP, wherein the channel information of the another AP indicates a primary channel of the another AP; and determining if changing the primary channel of the AP according to the primary channel of the another AP, to make the primary channels of the AP and the another AP correspond to different Wi-Fi channels.
Abstract: A wireless communication device configured to operate with a first wireless communication protocol and a second wireless communication protocol and a method for performing coexistence control based on adaptive threshold adjustment in the wireless communication device are provided. The method may include: performing wireless communication operations with the first wireless communication protocol and the second wireless communication protocol concurrently; comparing a current throughput with a throughput threshold; in response to the current throughput being less than the throughput threshold, comparing a received signal strength indicator (RSSI), in communication using the second wireless communication protocol, with a signal strength threshold to generate at least one comparison result; and selectively sending a null frame according to the at least one comparison result, in order to temporarily avoid communication using the second wireless communication protocol.
Abstract: An electronic device includes a memory usage identification circuit and a system-level cache (SLC). The memory usage identification circuit obtains a memory usage indicator that depends on memory usage of a storage space allocated in a system memory at which memory access is requested by a physical address. The SLC includes a cache memory and a cache controller. The cache controller performs cache management upon the cache memory according to the physical address and the memory usage indicator.

Abstract: A semiconductor package includes a first die structure, a first redistribution structure that is disposed on the first die structure, a second die structure that is disposed on the first redistribution structure, and a second redistribution structure that is disposed on the second die structure. The first die structure includes an interposer, and the interposer includes a semiconductor substrate and through-vias that penetrate through the semiconductor substrate. A first integrated circuit die is disposed in the semiconductor substrate of the interposer. The second die structure includes a second integrated circuit die that is encapsulated in an encapsulant and several conductive pillars that penetrate through the encapsulant. The first integrated circuit die is electrically connected to the second integrated circuit die through the first redistribution structure, the conductive pillars, and the second redistribution structure.
Abstract: The present invention provides a control method of aMLD, wherein the MLD includes a first station and a second station. The control method includes: using the first station to wirelessly transmit a first packet; notifying the second station that the first station is transmitting the first packet; determining an upper limit of a RX gain of the second station; determining a first RX gain of the second station according to information of a header of a second packet received by the second station and the upper limit of the RX gain; using the first RX gain to receive a payload of the second packet; and after receiving a notification indicating that a transmission of the first packet is ended, releasing the upper limit of the reception gain of the second station.
Abstract: A method of compiling a deep learning model includes reading metadata from a compiled result, the metadata indicating a structure of the deep learning model corresponding to a low-level IR, receiving shape information of an input tensor of the deep learning model, determining a shape of an output tensor of a first computation operation of the computation operations based on the shape information of the input tensor of the deep learning model and the structure of the deep learning model, tiling the output tensor of the first computation operation into one or more tiles according to the shape of the output tensor of the first computation operation and hardware limitations of a processor executing the deep learning model, and patching one or more copies of a templated hardware command into executable hardware commands.
Abstract: An image capturing device comprising an image sensor and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to perform following steps: (a) outputting first sensing frames by the image sensor in a first mode, wherein a first frame time duration is determined between adjacent ones of the first sensing frames; (b) switching from the first mode to a second mode in a transition time interval; (c) setting the transition time interval such that a difference between the transition time interval and the first frame duration is smaller than a predetermined value; and (d) outputting second sensing frames by the image sensor in the second mode.

Abstract: A method for dynamically allocating transmitting (TX) powers to multiple TX modules of a radio module includes: for each of the multiple TX modules: mapping a radio frequency (RF) exposure limit to a TX power limit; obtaining a first TX power limit corresponding a first time interval and a second TX power limit corresponding a second time interval, wherein the first time interval is earlier than the second time interval; in response to a TX power corresponding to the first time interval being smaller than the first TX power limit, calculating and storing a value of an unused TX power corresponding the first time interval in at least one power pool within a memory; and in response to a TX power corresponding to the second time interval being larger than the second TX power limit, obtaining the value of the unused TX power from the at least one power pool.

Abstract: A method for enhancing User Equipment (UE) handling of UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) rules selection is provided. A UE initiates to send a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) of an application to a mobile communication network. The UE determines that it has no URSP signaled from the mobile communication network. In response to there being pre-configured URSP rules of a Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) in a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM), the UE uses only the pre-configured URSP rules of the HPLMN in the USIM to derive configuration of a PDU session via which to send the PDU of the application.
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a method for configuring a transmitter (Tx) bandwidth (BW) and a receiver (Rx) BW of a communication apparatus, including: transmitting a first capability of a Tx and a second capability of an Rx to a network device; receiving at least one configuration associated to the first capability and the second capability from the network device; and configuring the Tx BW and the Rx BW according to the at least one configuration; wherein the Tx BW is in a Tx channel BW (CBW), and the Rx BW is in an Rx CBW.

After starting an APP on the electronic device, the current content status of the APP is monitored on a real-time basis. The contents of the APP are presented with an adjustable graphic quality which is adaptively adjusted based on the current content status of the APP for providing optimized balance between power consumption and user experience.
Abstract: An exposure convergence method of showing forward change of image intensity in response to drastic change of ambient light and applied to an image processing device includes utilizing an exposure function to acquire an initial intensity of a detection image provided by an image sensor, providing an exposure setting parameter to the image sensor for generating an input image with a first intensity in accordance with an analysis result of the initial intensity, and utilizing a gain parameter to adjust the input image for generating an output image with a second intensity, so that the second intensity of a plurality of sequential output images is gradually varied in one direction.
