According to the invention, the architecture comprises at least one power distribution member comprising: calibrator means for calibrating the electrical power coming from the power supply bus of the aircraft; and switch means for selectively directing the calibrated electrical power to one or the other of the electromechanical actuators.
Abstract: A part of a CVI/CVD furnace in which a heating system for heating the furnace is located is isolated from a remaining part of the furnace exposed to a reactive gas present therein. The shell of the furnace may for example be provided with a dividing wall or the like to provide a physical separation. In addition, an inert gas such as argon or nitrogen is supplied to the heating zone containing the heating system so that part of the furnace is at positive pressure differential compared to the part in which the reactive gas is present. As a result, the reactive gas is retarded from contacting the heating system which could, among other things, cause deposits to form thereon. More generally, the control of reactive gas flow in the furnace is better controlled.
Abstract: A wheel assembly for a vehicle, includes a wheel rim (16) and a tire (18) defining a closed space (30) therebetween which is filled with a pressurized gas. The inventive wheel assembly also includes a pressurized-gas reservoir (40) and elements (50) for selectively connecting the pressurized-gas reservoir (40) to the closed space (30) defined between the wheel rim (16) and the tire (18). The pressurized-gas reservoir (40) is rotationally fixed to the wheel rim (16).
Abstract: A pipe for feeding a gas into an oven, a furnaces, or the like (such as a CVI/CVD oven), and in particular into a reaction chamber structure inside the oven, is provided with a gastight tubular sealing device extending radially outside the pipe and defining a path that is practically gastight, along which there extends the as feed pipe. The tubular sealing device is preferably at least partially flexible in the transverse direction and/or the axial direction so as to accommodate positioning defects between a location situated in the reaction chamber and a location where the gas feed pipe penetrates into the oven (which defects may be due, for example, to asymmetrical thermal expansion/contraction).

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of fabricating an annular fiber structure, the method comprising the steps consisting in: providing a first fiber sheet made up of substantially unidirectional elements; forming a transverse, first annular sheet by laying the first fiber sheet in alternation in one direction and in the opposite direction between coaxial outer and inner circular rings with the sheets being held at said rings; providing a second fiber sheet made up of substantially unidirectional elements; forming a circumferential, second annular sheet by depositing the second fiber sheet in a circumferential direction between said outer and inner rings; bonding the transverse and circumferential annular sheets to each other; and driving the transverse and circumferential annular sheets in rotation about the axis of the outer and inner rings so as to perform a plurality of complete revolutions in order to obtain a thick annular fiber structure having layers made up by the transverse sheet alternating wit
Abstract: The invention relates to a telescopic actuator comprising a cylinder in which a main rod is mounted to slide telescopically along a sliding axis between a retracted position and an extended position. The actuator includes an auxiliary rod mounted to slide telescopically in the main rod along said sliding axis between a retracted position and an extended position, the actuator including controlled retaining means for retaining the auxiliary rod in the retracted position inside the main rod.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of fabricating a composite material connecting rod, the method comprising the step of cutting out a pattern presenting two opposite edges from a composite fiber fabric made up of a plurality of superposed primary plies that are bonded together in such a manner that the primary plies can slide relative to one another, rolling the pattern into a tube in such a manner that the primary plies slide relative to one another to give a chamfer shape to the two edges, and joining together the chamfer-shaped edges so that they overlap.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for providing protection against untimely braking, the device being specially adapted to an electromechanical brake including at least one actuator having a pusher suitable for being displaced by means of an electric motor controlled by a control module so as to press in controlled manner against a stack of disks, in which the device comprises a safety member suitable for being placed in a first state in which it prevents the pusher from being displaced by the electric motor, and a second state in which it leaves the pusher free to be displaced by the electric motor, the safety member being controlled by a control logic circuit which by default places the safety member in the first state and places the safety member in the second state only in response to the simultaneous presence of an order coming from the control module and a confirmation signal that does not come from the control module and that is independent thereof.
Abstract: A landing gear includes a shock absorber having first and second elements slidable relative to each other, the slidable elements defining an inside volume which is filled in part with hydraulic fluid so as to leave a first chamber filled with gas under pressure and located at the end of one of the slidable elements. A vessel filled with gas under pressure is housed in the end and is provided with a shutter member that is initially in a closed state and that is suitable for taking up a stable open state when the pressure in the first chamber exceeds the pressure in the vessel by a predetermined threshold amount.
