  • Publication number: 20030196698
Abstract: An axial flow control valve comprises a valve body having a flow passage containing therein a cylinder and an annular sleeve both are held in position by a positioning sleeve. The annular sleeve has a wall member formed with a multi-pores means for providing a number of V-shaped or elongate ports for reducing noise and vibration of fluid flow. A push rod is axially movably disposed within the cylinder, having one end attached with a resiliently biasing means for resiliently engaging a valve piston axially displaceable within the cylinder and the annular sleeve for controlling fluid flow. The positioning sleeve is formed with a truncated conical valve seat to associate with the valve piston for sealingly occluding fluid flow. O-rings made of resiliently metallic or ceramic material are disposed on the valve piston and/or the push rod for sealing the axially movable elements, so that the valve can be used in a high-temperature environment.

  • Publication number: 20030123324
Abstract: This invention relates to a fluid driven agitator used in densified gas cleaning system, which comprises a hydraulic motor mounted to a cleaning vessel of the densified gas cleaning system, wherein the hydraulic motor comprises a fluid in-port for charging the fluid into the hydraulic motor from outside of the cleaning vessel, and a fluid out-port for discharging the fluid from the hydraulic motor out of the cleaning vessel. An output shaft of the hydraulic motor can be joined to a rotatable component, such as a rotary basket or an impeller, subjecting circulation of the fluid and resulting in stirring.

  • Publication number: 20020063229
Abstract: A ball valve having a magnetic seat sealing device comprises a valve body, a valve seat, a valve ball, a valve stem and a valve bonnet, wherein the valve seat is disposed within a valve body cavity of the valve body, the valve ball being rotatably disposed on the valve seat, the valve bonnet engaging the valve body to confine the valve body cavity, the valve stem passing through the valve bonnet and drivingly engaging the valve ball; and being characterized by comprising a magnetic seat sealing device that employs a magnetic mechanism to control the metal valve seat, so that when the ball valve is in a closed condition, the magnetic mechanism exerts a magnetic force to the metal valve seat to further tighten and seal the valve seat against the valve ball; and when the ball valve is in an open condition, the magnetic force is released to allow the metal valve seat to return its original position; whereby the metal ball valve can be operated by a low operative torque and maintaining superior sealing effect.

  • Patent number: 6170557
Abstract: An automatic machine is designed to test performances of green sand molding and composed of a machine support, a feeding device, a vibration device, a testing device, a detecting device, and a catching device. The green sand is extracted by the feeding device and then screened in the vibration device The selected green sand is received and carried by a test piece sleeve of the catching device. The test piece sleeve is driven to move to the testing device for testing the compatibility of the green sand, to the detecting device for testing the permeability of the green sand, and to the loadcell for testing the green compressive strength of the green sand.

  • Patent number: 5327687
Abstract: A grinding apparatus includes an upright casing with a plurality of horizontal mounting frames and a worm journalled between a top and bottom of the upright casing. Several grinding devices are respectively mounted on each of the mounting frames and can perform different grinding operations. Each of the grinding devices is connected to the worm via transmission devices. Axial rotation of the worm correspondingly moves the grinding devices in order to complement with a radius of curvature of the curved plate that is fed to the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5325581
Abstract: The device includes a clamping assembly which has a stationary upright post with upper and lower casings coaxially mounted to the upright post, a threaded shaft to adjust a vertical height of the upper and lower casings, a drilling assembly which is adjacent to the clamping assembly and which has first and second drilling bits that respectively extends toward an axis of the upright post in a parallel manner and a worm mechanism for adjusting a vertical height between the two drilling bits and an index apparatus which can rotate the clamping assembly to a predetermined angle relative to the drilling assembly. The upper and lower casings have radially movable pieces with clamping members thereon. A synchronous moving unit moves the movable pieces relative to the upright post to define a distance which is equal to a radius of curvature of a curved plate that is to be clamped and drilled by the device.
