Abstract: A weighing device for handling sales transactions in a retail store, with several functional units, each one among the functional units being linked to at least another one among the functional units by a signal communications system. At least one of unit has a load cell for producing an electric signal proportional to the weight of an object placed on the load cell for weighing. At least one unit has an evaluation unit for forming a weight value expressed in a system of units from the weight signal supplied via the given signal communications system. At least one unit has a display unit for displaying the weight value and a total price of the object supplied via the given signal communications system. Also, at least one unit has a control unit for memorizing an article number and an associated unit price of the object and for controlling the operation of the weighing device so as to calculate the total price by multiplication of the unit price with the weight value after the article number is entered.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device to be used for the sale of goods in a store. Said device comprises a unit for generating goods-related signals, a unit for generating identification signals, which represent the type of the goods to be sold, and comprises a display unit for generating a visual representation of information contents that are determined on the basis of the goods-related signals and/or identification signals. For generating a visual representation, the invention provides that the sales device is operated by quantity information that represents the present quantity of the goods of the type indicated by the identification signals.
Abstract: The invention pertains to a device, especially a measuring device, for handling individual processes, in the course of which at least one value is generated, with a characterization unit, which can be operated to generate characterizing signals for characterizing the individual processes, and with a unit for assigning the values generated during the handling of the individual processes to the processes characterized by the characterizing signals, where the characterization unit has a receiver for receiving the identification signals which are generated in the vicinity of the device during the handling of the individual processes and which identify the processes, on the basis of which identification signals the characterizing signals are generated
Abstract: The invention relates to a printing module for mounting in shop scales. Said printing module comprises a base plate (1) having mounting areas for two printing groups (6, 6?) and two print roll unwinding bearings (4, 17). Said printing module can be used to simultaneously operate the scales in an operating mode in which goods sold are logged on a paper strip, and in a display mode in which goods display labels are printed on a label strip.
Abstract: A problem associated with label printers for liner-free labels is that the self-adhesive coated surface (4) of the label strip to be printed is exposed as it passes through the printer and is guided over a roller (10) that transports the label strip through the printer. Said strip must be released from the roller to be issued at the exit (15) of the printer. According to the invention, instead of the provision of conventional scraper elements downstream of the roller (10), the label strip is embossed, which counteracts the tendency of the label strip to become wound around the roller (10), thus enabling the label strip to be detached from the roller (10) in a reliable manner.
Abstract: In a price-calculating electronic shop scale having numeric display fields (9, 10, 11) for displaying the found-out weight of an article and the basic selling and purchase prices, respectively, of the article per unit of weight, an additional optical display unit (12, 13, 14) is provided which displays information evaluating the profit gained by the respective sales transaction. In this way the sales personnel is provided with a constant overview of the profit made by its sales activities without profit figures being revealed.
Abstract: In a weighing scale including a load receiving member (2) being elastically deflectably guided by virtue of a parallel guide mechanism (3, 4) is provided an electromagnetic compensating system (12, 13, 16) for detecting the deflection which is proportional to the load. In order to achieve high precision and a simple construction, a lever (6) being located between said compensating system and said load receiving member (2) is supported on an elastic member (11), thereby preventing any positional changes in the compensating system or any non-homogeneity errors associated therewith (FIG. 1).

Abstract: A price-calculating scale for self-service use equipped with an input keyboard with key fields provided with pictographs of goods, the price per kilogram of which is entered in the scales by means of the appropriate key field. For the purpose of adaptation to the current type of goods to be priced, an exchangeable key pads having a varied arrangement of the key fields is provided. The scale is programmable to automatically adapt to each key pad.
