Abstract: An arrangement to dampen an impact of a pipe or a set of pipes falling down from a deck includes a first set of bars each of which is bent and a bottom plate configured to form a receptacle for the pipe or the set of pipes falling down from the deck. The arrangement is configured to be connectable to the deck.

Abstract: A hydraulic cylinder unit for connection to a wire line riser tensioner system includes a hydraulic cylinder comprising a cylinder piston separating a first cylinder chamber from a second cylinder chamber. A low pressure tank is arranged as a closed cylinder. A first conduit is inserted into the closed cylinder and provides a fluid communication between the low pressure tank and the first cylinder chamber. A second conduit provides a fluid communication between a high pressure fluid reservoir and the second cylinder chamber. A feedback conduit provides a fluid communication between the first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber. A valve element comprising at least one valve is configured to be in a fluid communication with the at least one first conduit and the at least one feedback conduit. The valve element is configured to provide a reversible switching between a first alternative configuration and a second alternative configuration.
Abstract: A lifting arm assembly for lifting an elongate element includes a lifting arm comprising a complementary fastener and at least one fastening element, and a holder for at least one tool which comprises a first complementary fastening device. The holder is configured to be replaceable. The holder comprises a suspension device configured to fasten to the complementary fastener on the lifting arm, and at least one first receiving device configured to cooperate with the first complementary fastening device on the at least one tool.
Abstract: A lifting arm arrangement for lifting a pipe includes a pipe stacking tool comprising a first end, a second end, and a pipe handling head arranged at the second end. The pipe handling head is configured to grip around the pipe. A gripper head is connected to the first end of the pipe stacking tool. A tilt shaft is configured to connect the pipe stacking tool and the gripper head so as to form an articulated joint. The articulated joint comprises a locked position in which the pipe stacking tool is prevented from tilting about the tilt shaft, and a neutral position in which the pipe stacking tool is allowed to tilt about the tilt shaft.
Abstract: A reflector reflects electromagnetic waves, which waves are emitted into a conducting structure from at least one antenna situated at a distance (d?) from the reflector. The distance (d?) is calculated based on measured emitted and reflected waves to and from the reflector, respectively. The reflector includes a reflector disc, an elongated body having a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end, the first longitudinal end being fastened to the reflector disc and the second longitudinal end being fastenable to an accumulator piston. Said elongated body further comprises at least two telescopically interconnected reflector tubes rendering reversible adjustment of the elongated body's longitudinal length around a predetermined equilibrium length possible. A piston accumulator applying the reflector, and a method for measuring the distance (d?) are also provided.
