  • Patent number: 6576288
Abstract: Where the length LD of a resin film forming region is, for example, 3 times as long as the pitch of the sprocket holes of the base film, the resin coating is performed by using 6 nozzles, and where the length LD is, for example, 6 times as long as the pitch of the sprocket holes, the resin coating is performed by using 3 nozzles. As a result, the transfer distance of the base film transferred in a single resin coating process is 18 times as long as the pitch of the sprocket holes. It follows that it is possible to set constant the time for the base film to pass through the drying section even if the length LD of the resin film forming region differs.

  • Publication number: 20030086584
Abstract: A core having a coil wound thereon is fixed to a base at the bottom. The base is fixed to a case made of synthetic resin by insert molding. A diaphragm is fixed to the case in circumference, and also a magnetic flux guide member is fixed to the case in circumference. Since the diaphragm and the magnetic flux guide member is commonly fixed to the case, no variation in the distance between the diaphragm and the magnetic flux guide member would occur for every product. Further, a gap L is formed between the magnet and the magnetic flux guide member, and an air hole is formed in the magnetic flux guide member. This improves the passage of air and reduces air dumper effect without modifying the magnet in shape.

  • Publication number: 20030081794
Abstract: An insert earphone which attains desired acoustic characteristics. A receiver unit having a sound passage tube comprises a receiver main body and a housing accommodating the receiver main body. The sound passage tube includes an outer tube portion integrally formed with a frame of the housing and an inner tube member inserted into an inner space of the outer tube portion. The inner tube member is provided separately from the frame. A sound passage can be easily defined in any shape to obtain a desired acoustic characteristics. Plural kinds of insert earphones having different acoustic characteristics are manufactured by preparing plural kinds of inner tube members. This contributes to reduction in cost compared with a case of manufacturing plural kinds of frames.

  • Patent number: 6552345
Abstract: A thermopile far infrared radiation detection apparatus for crime prevention that is capable of detecting with certainty an intruder who is entering a monitoring space regardless of temperature changes of the space or how fast the intruder enters the space. The detection apparatus utilizes three or more thermopiles to detect an intruder into the space and in which output difference between detection values outputted from a pair of said thermopiles is obtained, and then, the intruder is detected by the comparison between these output differences obtained from different pairs of the thermopiles.

  • Publication number: 20030030400
Abstract: A machine tool and a control method therefor providing an improved machining accuracy even when a numerical control and electronic cam control coexist. The CPU determines the moving position of the workpiece, the tool, and the drilling tool according to the command from each channel machining sequence storage portion, and outputs the determined position as a command signal in response to the pulse signal generated at the pulse signal generating circuit. The workpiece, the tool, and the drilling tool are thereby electronic cam controlled. The CPU also determines the moving position of the workpiece and the tool according to the command from each channel machining sequence storage portion, and outputs the determined position as a command signal in response to the divided timing signal generated at the divided timing signal generating circuit. The workpiece and the tool are thereby numerically controlled.

  • Patent number: 6504644
Abstract: An apparatus for creating a pattern on a workpiece sensitive to radiation, such as a photomask, a display panel or a microoptical device. The apparatus includes a radiation source, a spatial modulator (SLM) having a multitude of modulating elements (pixels), a projection system, an electronic data processing and delivery system controlling said modulator, a precision mechanical system for moving said workpiece and an electronic control system. Specifically, the drive signals can set the pixels in a number of states larger than two, and intermediate modulation states are used for pixels along edges of pattern features. The design of the modulating elements and the exposure method create, for differently placed and/or differently oriented edges in the pattern, a symmetry in the aperture stop of the projection system.

  • Publication number: 20020193906
Abstract: A contour shape of a desired shape of a workpiece at section along a predetermined axis is divided into machining units. Each of the machining units includes a plurality of inflection points including a machining start point and a machining end point. Machining data at least necessary for performing machining is set for each of the machining units. Arrival times at the inflection points are calculated based on the machining data, and a position of at least one of the workpiece and the tool is calculated for each of the inflection points. For each of the machining units, a rotation angle position of the workpiece corresponding to the arrival time is set as an accumulated count value.
