  • Patent number: 10801633
Abstract: A valve body has an outside surface and a cylinder. The cylinder has an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. A piston has a head at one end and a foot at the end opposite the head and a piston body between the head and the foot. A cross channel extends from a first side of the piston body. A longitudinal channel is in fluid communication with the cross channel and extends to the outlet chamber. The piston is positioned in the cylinder so that it can be moved to an open position in which the cross channel is in fluid communication with the inlet chamber and a closed position in which the cross channel is not in fluid communication with the inlet chamber. The piston is actuated between the two positions by a differential in pressure between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber.

  • Publication number: 20200248921
Abstract: A system includes a cloud-based system and a plurality of systems for sensing air conditioner parameters coupled to the cloud-based system. Each of the plurality of systems for sensing air conditioner parameters senses parameters about a respective air conditioning system and forwards the sensed parameters to the cloud-based system. The cloud-based system receives the parameters from the plurality of systems for sensing air conditioner parameters, determines a maintenance condition, and forwards the maintenance condition to an interested party.

  • Patent number: 10584910
Abstract: A mister has an on state and an off state. A sensor detects when an air conditioner turns on. The sensor does not flex with respect to the air conditioner. A driver circuit is coupled to the sensor and the mister. The driver circuit transitions the mister from the off state to the on state when the sensor detects the air conditioner turning on.

  • Publication number: 20190191595
Abstract: An apparatus includes a mister having an on state and an off state. A thermostat is coupled to an air conditioner compressor and to the mister. The thermostat informs the mister when the air conditioner compressor is running and the mister uses that information to determine whether to transition between the on state and the off state.
