    Abstract: A film carrier tape for mounting electronic parts comprises an insulating film, a wiring pattern formed on a surface of the insulating film, and a solder resist layer formed by moving a squeegee using a screen mask of a prescribed pattern that is formed in such a manner that connecting terminal portions of the wiring pattern should be exposed. The edge of the solder resist layer is formed almost in parallel or almost at right angles to the moving direction of the squeegee used in the application of the solder resist. The solder resist layer can be formed by the use of a screen mask for solder resist coating in which the edge of the screen that is unmasked to apply the solder resist is formed almost in parallel or almost at right angles to the moving direction of the squeegee used in the application of the solder resist. According to the present invention, the fraction defective of the solder resist coating can be decreased.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method capable of mass production of a thin film decoupling capacitor provided with a capacitor circuit on the surface of a film tape carrier form of a polyimide resin or the like. For the purpose of achieving the above described object, there is provided a film carrier tape with a capacitor circuit, including a wiring pattern on the surface of a resin film including a plurality of sprocket holes on each of the two edges, wherein the resin film includes solder ball land holes and the wiring pattern includes a capacitor circuit having a structure in which a dielectric layer is disposed between an upper electrode and a lower electrode. As the method for manufacturing the aforementioned film carrier tape, there is provided such a method for semicontinuously manufacturing the film carrier tape concerned in the state of tape as applied to manufacturing conventional TAB products.

    Abstract: A motor comprises a yoke as casing, a shaft extending along a center of the yoke, an annular stator fixed to the yoke and an armature fixed to the shaft to rotate with the shaft inside the stator. The armature comprises a plurality of teeth on the outer circumferential surface. A wire is wound on any of the teeth to form a normal coil. Another wire is wound on another of the teeth to form a brake coil that is a short circuit. When the motor rotates much faster, the brake coil produces magnetic flux which acts as load against the rotation of the motor to allow the motor to rotate slower.

    Abstract: A film carrier tape for mounting electronic devices thereon has a tin-bismuth alloy deposit in which the bismuth content in the deposit is substantially uniform along a thickness direction thereof. The film carrier tape can be produced by plating at least a part of a wiring pattern with a tin-bismuth alloy and washing the tin-bismuth alloy deposit formed by plating with a water-ejecting washing nozzle within 6 seconds after the plating is completed. A plating apparatus for use in the above production includes a washing nozzle for washing the film carrier tape within 6 seconds after the film carrier tape has exited a plating tank.
