Abstract: Medical tubes are well balanced in transparency, flexibility, heat resistance, scratch resistance and rubber elasticity. The medical tubes including a propylene polymer composition (A) that contains a polymer with propylene units, at least part of the polymer having an isotactic structure and the total of the propylene units of the polymer being in an amount of 65 to 82 mol % (the total of the structural units of the polymer in the composition is 100 mol %), and that satisfies the following (a1), (a2) and (b1): (a1) the modulus in tension is in the range of 5 to 25 MPa as determined in accordance with JIS K 6301; (a2) the penetration temperature is 120° C. or above as determined in accordance with JIS K 7196; and (b1) when a tube being made of the composition (A) and having an inner diameter of 2.1 mm, an outer diameter of 3.

Abstract: The invention concerns multilayered structures useful for forming capacitors, which may be embedded within printed circuit boards or other microelectronic devices. The multilayered structure comprises a pair of parallel electrically conductive layers separated by a pair of dielectric layers and a central polymerizable layer. Each of the dielectric layers and the central layer may include a filler. Capacitors formed from the multilayered structures of the invention exhibit excellent short circuit resistance as well as excellent void resistance.
Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer excellent in rubber elasticity and extrudability and a molded object thereof. The thermoplastic elastomer comprises a partly or wholly crosslinked rubber (A), an isotactic polypropylene (B) having an isotactic pentad content of 0.8 or higher, a syndiotactic polypropylene (C) having a syndiotactic pentad content of 0.6 or higher, and a softener (D), the content of the syndiotactic of the syndiotactic polypropylene (C) being in the range of 0.5 to 10 wt. % based on the sum of the crosslinked rubber (A), isotactic polypropylene (B), syndiotactic polypropylene (C), and softener (D), the thermoplastic elastomer having a melt flow rate of 0.01 to 1000 g/10 min as measured in accordance with ASTMD 1238 at 230° C. under a load of 10 kg. The molded object is obtained by extrusion-molding the elastomer.
Abstract: In a vehicle seat lock, an operating knob is provided at the top of the seat back of a chair. The operating knob is joined to the inner end of the bell crank at the lower end. The bell crank is pivotally secured to a bracket in the seat back. The outer end of the bell crank has the first and second elongate openings. The upper end of the first connecting rod slidably engages in the first elongate opening, and the upper end of the second connecting rod slidably engages in the second elongate opening. The lower end of the first connecting rod is coupled to a sensing member which detects invasion of the striker. The lower end of the second connecting rod is coupled to an opening lever which allows a hook member to disengage from a striker fixed to the vehicle body.

Abstract: The invention provides an inspection apparatus and an inspection method for detecting defects, a punching apparatus, and a method for controlling a punching apparatus, for the purpose of immediate detection of debris from being lifted toward the surface of an insulating film for film carrier tape, which debris tends to occur during punching of the insulating film for film carrier tape by use of a punching mold, whereby the number of pieces having defects on the film surface caused by attachment of debris from being lifted or foreign matter is reduced to a minimum possible number.
Abstract: A magnetic film of an oxide-containing cobalt base alloy has a smaller coercivity difference than conventional magnetic films. A target material and a sputtering target of the invention are capable of forming the magnetic film. A manufacturing method of the target material is also disclosed. The magnetic film of an oxide-containing cobalt base alloy and the oxide-containing cobalt base alloy target material each have a Fe content of 100 ppm or less. The sputtering target includes the target material bonded to a backing plate. The manufacturing method of the oxide-containing cobalt base alloy target material includes preparing a Co—Cr alloy by melting Cr ingot and at least one Co source selected from Co ingot and Co powder, preparing Co—Cr alloy powder by atomizing the Co—Cr alloy, preparing a mixed powder by mixing the Co—Cr alloy powder, Pt powder and oxide powder, and sintering the mixed powder after forming or simultaneously with forming.
Abstract: In a vehicle seat lock, a striker is mounted to a vehicle body and a hook member is mounted to the seat back. The striker comprises the first and second engagement portions which selectively engage in first and second engagement grooves of the hook member to hold the seat back in two kinds of standing positions. The hook member is pivotally secured on a pivot to open and molded with synthetic resin to buffer impacting of the striker.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible wiring substrate which does not form anomalous deposition of tin-bismuth alloy plating, through prevention of exfoliation, during the process of plating with tin-bismuth alloy, of a solder resist layer. A method for producing the flexible wiring substrate is also disclosed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) ionomer of ethylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer 60 to 96.7% by weight, (B) ethylene or alpha-olefin/glycidyl monomer copolymer 0.3 to 10% by weight and (C) propylene/alpha-olefin copolymer 3 to 30% by weight. Abstract: An industrial process for producing hydroxyaldehydes efficiently, by solving the problems of conventional DERA, such as low stability against aldehydes, low catalytic activity for aldol condensation, and the difficulty of controlling the number of acetaldehyde molecules to be condensed, is provided. According to the process, aldol condensation of a substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic aldehyde compound having 2 to 6 carbon atoms with acetaldehyde is conducted by using D-2-deoxyribose-5-phosphate aldolase which is highly stable against aldehydes and has high catalytic activity for aldol condensation, whereby a hydroxyaldehyde compound having the number of carbon atoms increased by two or four can be produced.
