Abstract: Pastes for circuit connections and anisotropic conductive pastes that are excellent in storage stability and dispenser application properties, can be free of voids, bubbles and bleeding on thermocompression bonding and can give cured products having high bonding and connection reliability at high temperatures and high humidity, and the ability to be repaired. The paste for circuit connection contains an epoxy resin, an acid anhydride curing agent or a phenolic curing agent, and high-softening point fine particles. The anisotropic conductive paste additionally contains conductive particles. The method of using the paste for circuit connection or the anisotropic conductive paste involves connecting an electric circuit wiring formed on a substrate with an electric circuit wiring formed on another substrate with the paste for circuit connection or the anisotropic conductive paste.
Abstract: The metallocene compound according to the invention and the olefin polymerization catalyst containing the compound are intended to produce a catalyst capable of preparing an isotactic polymer with a high polymerization activity. The metallocene compound contains a substituted cyclopentadienyl group and a (substituted) fluorenyl group and has a structure wherein these groups are bridged by a hydrocarbon group or the like. The process for preparing a metallocene compound according to the invention is intended to selectively prepare a specific metallocene compound so as not to produce an isomer, and in this process an intermediate product is synthesized by a specific method.

Abstract: Nickel powder includes, on the basis of the total number of particles, not less than 10% of particles whose particle size is not less than 1.2 times the average particle size, as determined by the SEM observation; and not less than 10% of particles whose particle size is not more than 0.8 times the average particle size, as determined by the SEM observation. The nickel powder can be prepared by, for instance, precipitating nickel particles from an aqueous solution containing a nickel salt and a hydrazine reducing agent, without forming any hydroxide of nickel as an intermediate. A conductive paste containing the nickel powder can be applied onto an internal or external electrode for electronic parts.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a high purity N4-acylcytidine derivative. More specially, the invention provides a compound represented by the formula (1): wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkynyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, a perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a halogen atom; R2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms with a substituent, or a halogen atom; R3 represents a methyl group or a phenyl group; and M represents a positive ion of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal, and a compound represented by the formula (2): wherein R1, R2, and R3 are as defined above, produced by using the compound represented by the formula (1).

Abstract: A lead frame according to this invention comprises: a semiconductor chip mounting part having an engagement hole formed on its one side; and a lead part including a supporting lead fit in said engagement hole of the semiconductor chip mounting part so as to support said semiconductor chip mounting part, said supporting lead being made of a thinner-walled material than that of the semiconductor chip mounting part and an outer lead arranged in parallel to said supporting lead. Abstract: A protected 2?-deoxycytidine is purified by precipitating the protected 2?-deoxycytidine represented by general formula (3) in the form of a hydrated crystal from a solution containing the protected 2?-deoxycytidine and water, and by recovering the protected 2?-deoxycytidine: wherein R1 represents a 4-methoxytrityl, 4, 4?-dimethoxytrityl, or triphenylmethyl group; and B1 represents a cytosine group having a protected amino group. Abstract: This invention is a silver powder having a low-temperature sintering performance and dispersibility, which allows the powder particles to be agglomerated to a small degree and be nearly in the monodisperse state. Employed is silver powder of fine silver particles each to which fine silver particles adhere, wherein fine silver particles of nano-order particle size are adhered to the surface of each silver powder particle. The powder particles of the silver powder of fine silver particles each to which fine silver particles adhere have excellent dispersibility.
Abstract: A vehicle door handle device includes a base case secured to a door, and an L-shaped handle lever rotatably mounted on the base case by a supporting shaft and connected to a latch device of the door by way of a connecting member. The handle lever includes an operation arm extending in a first direction and receiving a manual operational force and a coupling arm extending in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction to be connected to the connecting member. The operation arm is made of a synthetic resin and has a small specific gravity, and the coupling arm is made of a metal and has a great specific gravity. The base portions of the operation arm and the coupling arm are undetachably coupled with each other by the supporting shaft.

Abstract: There is disclosed an optical recording medium including a recording layer, one or more intermediate layers, and a printable or typable surface protective layer disposed in this order on a transparent substrate having an annular plate shape, the optical recording medium having an inner peripheral portion in which the recording layer is not formed on an inner peripheral side in a radial direction of the transparent substrate, wherein the surface protective layer is formed in at least a part of the inner peripheral portion, and a hydrophobic intermediate layer is directly formed on the transparent substrate in a region of the inner peripheral portion in which the surface protective layer is formed. Label information can be formed on the optical recording medium even in an innermost peripheral hub portion by printing or the like.
Abstract: The force from a drive rod driven by an electric motor is transmitted via a link arm pivotally linked to the drive rod and a back door. When the back door is operated in opening direction, the link arm is supported by open-side support sliders and the acting direction of the force applied to the link arm by the drive rod is shifted to the opening direction of the back door. When the back door is operated in dosing direction, the link arm is supported by closed-side support slider and a closed-side support roller and the acting direction of the force applied to the link arm by the drive rod is shifted to the closing direction of the back door. The open-side and closed side support sliders are pressed against the link arm by leaf spring members so that the link arm is prevented from oscillating between the sliders.

Abstract: A propylene polymer composition is prepared by mixing propylene homo- or co-polymer (A) obtained using a transition metal catalyst compound (h), defined herein, with a co-catalyst, e.g., organoaluminum oxy compound, with an olefin elastomer (D) and another olefin polymer (E), e.g., polyethylene. Alternatively, the combination of propylene polymer (A), olefin elastomer (D) and olefin polymer (E) is prepared by a multi-stage polymerization method. In both cases, the propylene homo- or co-polymer (A) may include a second propylene homo- or co-polymer (A?) wherein the ratio of intrinsic viscosities of propylene polymers (A) and (A?) is in the range of 3 to 30. These propylene polymer compositions are excellent in heat resistance, mechanical strength, tensile elongation at break, etc., and can be used in the fabrication of structural materials, films and sheets.
Abstract: An electroluminescent element in which at least one layer containing at least one of novel hydrocarbon compounds with an anthracene ring and a fluorene ring directly bound is held between a pair of electrodes. The compounds can advantageously be used in a luminescent element and provide an organic electroluminescent element having an excellent luminescent efficiency and a long luminescent life.
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to efficiently produce an N-methyl transferase with 7-methylxanthine N3 methyl transferase, theobromine N1 methyl transferase, and paraxanthine N3 methyl transferase activities that can be utilized as an industrial, food, or medical enzyme. In addition, the present invention makes it possible to modify the caffeine biosynthesis metabolism of caffeine producing plants, plant tissues, or plant cells, thereby efficiently producing caffeine metabolism based compounds or modifying the production of caffeine in the plants.
Abstract: A method for reducing a sulfur-containing compound by hydrogenation using a noble metal catalyst which method is exemplified by an industrial method for producing a 2-alkyl-3-aminothiophene derivative with high economical efficiency by hydrogenating a 2-alkenyl-3-aminothiophene derivative using the noble metal catalyst. 2-Alkyl-3-aminothiophene derivatives are useful compounds in the fields of medicine and agriculture, and in particular, useful in bactericides for agriculture or gardening, or intermediates of the bactericides. The hydrogenation reaction temperature is controlled at 150° C. to 300° C. and the method allows the used noble metal catalyst to be recovered and reused.
