    Abstract: An example electrical connector is capable of being fixed to a circuit board and includes a first insulating housing having a front end provided with a first coupling cavity and a receiving cavity provided on a lateral side of and laterally aligned with the first coupling cavity. The electrical connector includes a plurality of first conductive terminals, respectively provided on upper and lower sides of the first coupling cavity, where each first conductive terminal includes a first contact portion extending forwards and a wiring portion extending backwards. The electrical connector further includes a plurality of conducting wires, respectively connected to the wiring portions of the plurality of first conductive terminals, and a second insulating housing, inserted into the receiving cavity of the first insulating housing. The electrical connector also includes a plurality of second conductive terminals, fixed on the second insulating housing.

The insulative housing has a body portion and a mating portion. The body portion is formed with a first opening, the mating portion is connected to the body portion and has a continuous surrounding wall which encircles the first opening, the continuous surrounding wall encircles to form an inner cavity, the inner cavity has a second opening. Each of two opposite sides of the body portion and the mating portion therebetween form a positioning space. The circuit board is provided to the body portion, partially extends out of the first opening and extends to the inner cavity. The cable is electrically connected to a side of the circuit board. The locking member is provided to the insulative housing. The cable-end connector can firmly mate with the board-end connector, so that stability of electrical signal transmission can be promoted.

    Abstract: Connector assemblies for high speed data communication are described. In one example, a connector assembly includes a plug mating interface, a surface mating interface, and a wafer assembly between the plug mating interface and the surface mating interface. The wafer assembly includes a wafer insert, a channel shield, a plurality of signal conductors extending within the channel shield, a conductive gasket positioned over open edges of the channel shield, and a shield cover positioned over the conductive gasket. The conductive gasket can be embodied as a conductive elastomeric gasket and provides a conductive shield over open edges of the channel shield. The conductive gasket can be positioned between the shield cover and the open edges of the channel shield. The conductive gasket and the shield cover help to enclose open areas in the channel shield and provide additional shielding for the signal conductors.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are disclosed of bridge inverters for wireless charging. In an exemplary embodiment, a bridge inverter circuit includes a bridge driver and first and second transistors (e.g., metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), etc.) coupled with the bridge driver. First and second power inductors are respectively coupled with the first and second transistors. A resonant tank is coupled with the first and second transistors and the first and second power inductors. The bridge inverter circuit may include only one bridge driver and only two transistors. The first and second power inductors may be located before the bridge inverter stage such that the first and second power inductors are in the DC domain rather than the AC domain. The resonant tank may include at least one additional inductor-capacitor (LC) component. The bridge inverter circuit may be configured to be operable for producing half sine waves for each half cycle.
