Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for syncing data between a tabular platform and a third-party application are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve accessing a first platform that displays a first set of data in a first format; accessing a second platform that displays a second set of data in a second format; linking the first set of data with the second set of data to enable migration of the first set of data to the second platform and the second set of data to the first platform; enabling the first platform to simultaneously display the second set of data in the second format; enabling alteration of the second set of data in the second platform through manipulation of the simultaneous display of the second set of data in the first platform; and syncing the second set of data as altered with the first data set.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for mutual screen sharing during a text chat are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve at least one processor configured to: maintain a platform that hosts a plurality of applications accessible to a plurality of client devices; enable the plurality of client devices to access and display via the platform, the plurality of applications; cause a communications interface to appear on the first client device and the second client device; cause a first display on the first client device of the second application in response to selection on the first client device of the first link; cause a second display on the second client device of the first application in response to selection on the second client device of the second link; and during the first display and the second display, enable communication between the first client device and the second client device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media that automatically vary hang-time of pop-up messages, to enable presentation of a shared work environment on a plurality of client devices and cause a presentation of a plurality of visual indicators on a fraction of a display of the shared work environment, wherein each visual indicator represents differing clients associated with the plurality of client devices. The embodiments may further enable at least one group chat between the plurality of client devices, wherein communications are presented in pop-up windows appearing adjacent corresponding visual indicators, and wherein the pop-up windows remain on the display for differing durations depending on variables including at least one of length of message, number of concurrently displayed messages, a client defined threshold, or a sender status.

Abstract: Systems and methods may include having an integrated unified filing engine. A system may include at least one processor configured to maintain at least one table containing a plurality of items and a plurality of asset designations, and to maintain at least one electronic whiteboard containing at least a subset of the plurality of asset designations. The processor may be further configured to maintain a data structure containing a plurality of links, wherein each link associates at least one of the subsets of asset designations with at least one location on the at least one electronic whiteboard, receive via a network access device, an activation of a particular link associated with a particular asset, alter a display of at least one electronic whiteboard containing an asset designation, and retrieving a presenting a corresponding asset in response to a received selection of a particular asset designation.

Abstract: A method for enabling selective field expansion in an electronically displayed table is provided. The method includes rendering at least a portion of the electronic table on a display, the electronic table including a plurality of cells, each cell associated with a unique row and column combination, wherein the rendered portion of the electronic table includes a plurality of cells including at least one edge cell containing information; receiving a user input indicating a direction away from the edge cell; in response to the user input, rendering the edge cell with a width wider than a default width to thereby display more information in the wider width than was displayed in the default width; and upon termination of the user input, rendering the edge cell with the default width.

Abstract: A system and method for generating advertisements based on matching user metadata, including: associating a user generated content (UGC) with creator metadata and content metadata, wherein at least a portion of the UGC is generated by a first user associated with the creator metadata, wherein the creator metadata is based on information received from a user device of the creator and content metadata is based on the UGC; generating an advertisement based on the creator metadata and the content metadata; accessing user metadata associated with a second user; generating a match score between the user metadata and the creator metadata; matching between the user metadata and the creator metadata when the match score exceeds a predetermined threshold; and causing the generated advertisement to be displayed on a matching second user device associated with the second user.

Abstract: A system and method for generating tagged column-oriented data structures, including: generating a column-oriented data structure that comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column comprises a plurality of cells that are associated with a single data type, wherein at least one of the plurality of columns is a tag type column; and inserting at least one tag into a first cell of the tag type column, where the first cell further associated with a first row of cells.

Abstract: A system and method for managing permissions of users for a column-oriented data structure, including: generating a column oriented data structure in response to receiving a request to generate the data structure from a first user device associated with a first user account, wherein the data structure comprises a plurality of columns, wherein each column is of single data type and is assigned metadata associated with the single data type; associating the first user account with a first set of permissions associated with the generated data structure; and, associating a second user account with a second set of permissions, wherein the first set of permissions comprises at least one additional permission with respect to the second set of permissions.
