Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for providing standards compliant encryption, storage, and retrieval of date are disclosed. In an embodiment, data is received at a first data center from a first device in connection with a service request, and encrypted to produce encrypted data. The encrypted data may be transmitted from the first data center to the first device, and then may subsequently be received at a second data center. The second data center may store the encrypted data in a database accessible to the second data center. Because all data provided to the system is encrypted by the first data center prior to being stored and/or provided to the second data center, the database and the second data canter may be out of the scope of compliance monitoring, auditing, and reporting for one or more date security standards.

The transaction information includes information that identifies a location of the point of entry device. The method includes determining, by the server, receipt information to be included in a receipt for the money transfer transaction. The receipt information may be determined based, at least in part, on the transaction information, and at least a portion of the receipt information included in the receipt satisfies regulatory requirements associated with the location of the point of entry device. The method includes generating, by the server, the receipt that includes the receipt information, and transmitting the receipt from the server to the point of entry device via the network.

The user is directed to a customer relations portal accessible via an access device to participate in the game or contest. The customer relations portal comprising a server configured to manage the game or contest and associated with the promotions engine computer. A response is received from the user at the server related to the user's participation in the game or contest. The server determines whether the user is to receive a reward or prize based on the response from the user, and an output is provided to the user on the access device indicating whether the user is to receive the reward or prize.

Abstract: A computer system is operated to prevent fraud in a money transfer receive transaction. A send transaction request is received from a sender for a money transfer including a send amount. The sender is prompted to select one or more security inputs to be supplied by a receiver for redemption of the money transfer. A send transaction record is stored with the selected one or more security inputs in a server. A receive transaction request is then received from the receiver. The receiver is prompted for the one or more security inputs set for redemption of the money transfer, and the provided one or more security inputs from the receiver are received. The received one or more security inputs are authenticated, and release of funds in the send amount is authorized if the received one or more security inputs are authenticated.

Abstract: A method of staging a transaction includes receiving transaction information including a transaction type, sender and recipient information, and compliance data. A staging record is generated responsive to the transaction information, including a retrieval key for fulfillment of the transaction at an agent terminal, where the transaction proceeds if the retrieval key leads to the staging record and the compliance data are consistent with applicable rules.

Abstract: A method for performing transactions comprises receiving registration information and transaction specifications, generating a customer profile based on the registration information, and storing the transaction specifications in the distribution profile. The customer profile is identified based on an initiation instruction and associated user authentication data, and one of the transaction specifications is identified based on the initiation instruction. Payment source status is verified and a send transaction is initiated, based on the payment source status.

Abstract: Systems, methods and devices which utilize near field communication-style technologies in conjunction with one or more of personal devices and communication networks in order to provide for improved customer interactions with a service establishment are provided. In one embodiment an application is configured to provide for various functionality upon the triggering of a near-field communication stimulus. For example, upon scanning a near field device, an application may launch that provides a user with pre-determined information. Such information may include information regarding the nearest locations of a service establishment and approximate wait times for transactions at the listed locations. In another embodiment, the pre-determined information may include information regarding promotions available to a customer such as special offers, coupons, advertisements, and the like.

Abstract: A system and method for performing transactions uses a plurality of tokens for retail sale, each token representing a send transaction. A computer system is connectable to receive data representing a send transaction identifier of at least one token and the computer system presents to the sender a completion interface that includes fields for receiving send transaction information comprising sender identification information, recipient identification information and options related to the transfer.
