A method of forming film products includes: providing a reservoir housing a film forming matrix, pumps in association with the reservoir, and orifices; feeding the wet film forming matrix from the reservoir to the pumps; dispensing the film forming matrix from each of the pumps through an orifice; and depositing wet film products onto a substrate. An apparatus for forming film strips includes: (a) a reservoir for housing a film forming matrix; (b) pumps associated with the reservoir; (c) a plurality of orifices, with each orifice being associated with a pump; (d) a substrate; and (e) a means for moving the substrate through the apparatus.
