  • Patent number: 11443375
Abstract: An order management system comprises a middle tier and a computer-based automatic rule code generation system. The middle tier comprises a state transition engine that manages rule-based state transitions of trade orders for financial products from one state to a next state in progressions of the trade orders. The computer-based automatic rule code generation system: (i) receives a human-readable state transition file that specifies one or more state transition rules and a corresponding condition for each of the one or more state transition rules; and (ii) generates, at compile time, a configuration file that comprises rule code for the one or more state transition rules from the state transition file. The state transition engine runs the rule code in the configuration file at runtime to manage the state transitions for the trade orders.

  • Patent number: 11431472
Abstract: A system for named entity extraction from a stream of semi-structured communications is disclosed. The system comprises a server connected to a network through which the stream of semi-structured communications is transmitted. The server is configured to receive at least one communication from the stream of semi-structured communications, divide the at least one communication into a set of individual characters, and for each individual character, generate a vector of values associated with the individual character. Once generated, the server passes each generated vector through an encoder-decoder transformer architecture; and based on output of the encoder-decoder transformer architecture, extracts a plurality of values associated with entities in the at least one communication.

  • Patent number: 11422977
Abstract: A method for caching and deduplicating a plurality of received segments of data is disclosed. The method comprises identifying a value of a first data field in each segment acting as a unique source identifier; and identifying a value of a second data field in each segment, the second data field being densely populated by values in the plurality of segments. The value of the second data field is partitioned into a first partition comprising more significant bits and a second partition comprising less significant bits. A key is generated based on values of the first data field and the first partition. A database entry associates the first key with a bitmap, the bitmap having a length based on the number of possible values a bitmap of equal length to the second partition could validly take. Single bits of the bitmap are set corresponding to received segments, to enable deduplication.

  • Patent number: 11425232
Abstract: A system for detecting a communications computer network node malfunction by analysis of network traffic output by the network node. Low latency packet capture nodes copy network traffic and transmit it to an analytics engine, which may use machine learning techniques, including long short-term memory (LSTM) neural networks, to determine a likelihood that the output of one data router in a network is suffering from a software malfunction, hardware malfunction, or network connectivity issue, and preserve overall data quality in the network by causing cessation of traffic by the malfunctioning node of the network.

  • Patent number: 11422829
Abstract: A method and system for an application to load one or more files from a device (e.g., local disc of the device) rather than from a location outside of the device (e.g., a server) via a service worker. The service worker can communicate with one or more main JavaScript threads (e.g., clients) via one or more corresponding service worker bridges that communicates with one or more corresponding main JavaScript thread bridges that communication with the main JavaScript threads. The main JavaScript threads can communicate with the local disc of the device (e.g., native) to retrieve the one or more files and transmit them to the service worker such that the service worker can provide the one or more files to the application. In this manner, service workers can provide service with data stored in a memory of a computer device of a computer.

  • Publication number: 20220215275
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods forecast network resource and/or infrastructure needs for an enterprise computer system that employs network servers to host resources that are requested by network users. Based on the forecasts, the network resources can be scaled or provisioned accordingly. The state of the networkservers can be dynamically adjusted to meet the request needs of the users while reducing excess capacity. The forecasting techniques are also applicable to cloud computing environments. Based on the forecasts, the cloud server pool can be scaled dynamically, so that the system's scale satisfies the changing requests and avoids wasting resources when the system is under low load.

  • Patent number: 11348159
Abstract: An efficient reusable, extensible light weight framework statelessly orchestrates system activities in any application which involves a series of sequential or parallel set of activities involving computational logic, data retrieval and persistence services. Actual orchestration steps and activities and computational logic are specified into configuration files, separate from the orchestration engine itself, thereby eliminating the need to code for such logic and activities. The framework can eliminate the need to code business logic and orchestration of data retrieval services by externalizing them into configuration files, resulting in lower costs to implement, test and maintain such system during its lifespan.

  • Publication number: 20220156756
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automatically analyzing handwritten text to determine a mismatch between a purported writer and an actual writer is disclosed. The method comprises receiving two samples of digitized handwriting each allegedly created by one individual and received and entered into a digital system by another. The method further comprises performing a series of feature extractions to convert the samples into two vectors of extracted features; automatically clustering a set of vectors such that the first vector and the second vector are assigned to the same cluster among multiple clusters, based on vector similarity; and automatically determining that a same individual being associated with both the first and second samples indicates a heightened probability that the individual fraudulently created both samples. Finally, the method comprises automatically transmitting a message to flag additional samples of digitized handwriting entered into a digital system as possibly fraudulent.

  • Patent number: 11330014
Abstract: Systems and methods determine whether domain names are potentially maliciously registered variants of a set of monitored domain names. A computer system can receive domain names from a feed of newly registered domain names. For each received domain name, the computer system can generate a series of images of the domain name in different fonts and/or with various distortions applied thereto. The computer system can then transform the domain name images back to text via optical character recognition. Due to the differences in fonts and/or distortions applied to the generated images of the received domain name, the optical character recognition process can produce different text strings than the originally received domain name. The converted textual domain names are then analyzed to determine whether any one is sufficiently similar to a monitored domain name, indicating that the received domain name could be a malicious variant thereof.
