Patent number: 7712389Abstract: A lifting device having parallel double screw rods includes a motor, a first transmission and a second transmission. The first transmission includes a screw rod driven by the motor and a telescopic tube assembly threadedly connected to the screw rod and linearly movable relative to the screw rod. The distal end of the telescopic tube assembly is fixedly connected on a connecting piece. The second transmission is provided at one side of the first transmission and parallel thereto. Further, the second transmission includes a sleeve driven by the motor to rotate, a telescopic tube assembly accommodated within the sleeve and axially movable relative to the sleeve, and a screw rod threadedly connected to the telescopic tube assembly and linearly movable relative to the telescopic tube assembly. The distal end of the telescopic tube assembly is connected to the connecting piece. With the above arrangement, each screw rod is interchangeable and the cost can be reduced.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2006Date of Patent: May 11, 2010Assignee: T-Motion Technology Co., Ltd.Inventor: Chia-Jung Wang

Patent number: 7701095Abstract: The invention is a generator and cooling mechanism. The generator includes a rotor comprising a shaft with a skewed alignment of magnets on a ring, a stator of toothed laminations with coils wound around the teeth, and a housing with cooling chambers. The housing has annular subchambers arranged successively along the length of the generator in such a way that cooling fluid must flow to the opposite side of the generator to pass into the next chamber. Because the housing is highly heat conductive, this structure of annular subchambers increases the uniformity of the fluid temperature.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2007Date of Patent: April 20, 2010Assignee: Danotek Motion TechnologiesInventors: Daniel Gizaw, David M. Patent number: 7654123Abstract: The present invention provides a method and machine for producing a slotted wound core (50). The machine includes a punch arrangement (16) arranged to punch apertures in a length of material (12a), a mandrel (22) for receiving the punched material, a control means and a mandrel indexing means. The positioning of the punch arrangement (16) and the mandrel (22) is fixed and the mandrel (22) is arranged to be rotated by the mandrel indexing means after each operation of the punch arrangement so that a roll of punched material is formed on the mandrel (22). The mandrel (22) is rotated by an amount (&ggr;) determined by the control means. The control means determines the indexed amount so that selected apertures punched in the length of material align with one another when the material (12a) is rolled onto the mandrel (22) so that the aligned apertures form respective slots (52) of a desired configuration in the core (50).Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2005Date of Patent: February 2, 2010Assignee: In Motion Technologies Pty. Publication number: 20090214144Abstract: A rolling element chain is applied to retain and arrange multiple rollers at intervals in a line and has a belt assembly and multiple clamping assemblies. The rollers are cylinders mounted parallelly in the rolling element chain. The belt assembly is resilient and has two parallel bars. The clamping assemblies are formed in pairs between the parallel bars to form multiple roller holes on the belt assembly and each clamping assembly has multiple clamping protrusions. The clamping protrusions of each clamping assembly are formed in a line between the parallel bars and alternately protrude oppositely away from the belt assembly and together hold the roller in the belt assembly. Each clamping protrusion has a roller surface and at least one rib. Each rib is formed on and protrudes from the roller surface, thereby, reduces contact area between the clamping protrusions and the rollers.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2008Publication date: August 27, 2009Applicant: Advanced Motion Technologies Corp.Inventors: Ching-Shan Wu, Jen-Wen Chen, Meng-Yi Chen
