The electronic processor is configured to transmit, in response to receiving the group call request, a call grant message to a plurality of subscriber units affiliated with the talkgroup. The electronic processor is configured to determine, using a machine learning algorithm, a subset of the plurality of subscriber units based on a call grant response time, and, while a transmission hold-off timer has not expired, when a call grant response has been received from each of the subscriber units of the subset, forward an audio transmission to the subset based on the group call request.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for detecting open circuit fault conditions in a battery pack containing parallel cells include providing a first control signal to a close FET in parallel with a resistive element, the resistive element being in series with a first battery cell in a first cell path between the terminals of the battery pack, the first cell path being in parallel with a second cell path including a second battery cell. While the FET is closed, a test load is applied across the terminals and a first voltage measurement is obtained at a test point in the battery pack. The methods include providing a second control signal to open the FET, applying the test load across the terminals, obtaining a second voltage measurement at the test point, and determining whether a difference between the first and second voltage measurements indicates an open circuit fault condition in the battery pack.

The electronic processor is also configured to reduce a bandwidth of the broadband transceiver based on the number of additional carrier channels and assign additional carrier channels to the narrowband transceiver to operate the narrowband transceiver with the number of additional carrier channels.

The console server creates a first role that includes at most one dispatch unit ID from each radio system. Multiple roles can be created by the console server. Upon authenticating a dispatcher at the console server, the console server presents a menu of roles available to the dispatcher. The menu of roles can include all roles on the console server or only the roles that the dispatcher is allowed to choose and that are currently available.

Prior to executing the control command, a set of secondary IoT devices will be determined based on a task assigned to the officer. The secondary IoT devices will be accessed to determine their statuses. The status of the secondary IoT devices will be used as a trigger as to whether or not to allow the control command to be sent to the first IoT device.
