  • Patent number: 11653357
Abstract: Techniques for radio frequency uplink performance assessment utilizing downlink erasure frame analysis are provided. An indication of if a received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame is received from a plurality of receiver wireless communications devices. The indications of if the received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame are aggregated. The frame identified by the frame identifier is declared to be an erasure frame when at least one of the plurality of wireless communications devices has indicated the received frame has been determined to be an erasure frame. That an error occurred on an uplink between the sender wireless communication device and the RAN is determined when the frame is declared an erasure frame.

  • Patent number: 11652521
Abstract: A communication device, computer program product, and method proactively implement a successful transmit antenna configuration to address antenna outages for multiple transmit carrier scenarios. A carrier of the communication device determines a first transmit carrier, of at least two transmit carriers of a multiple transmit carrier mode, that is identified as having priority among the at least two transmit carriers. The controller identifies one or more transmit antenna configurations in the transmit antenna configuration data that support the first transmit carrier. The carrier determining, for each transmit antenna configuration, an aggregate antenna outage metric that indicates the transmit performance for a corresponding transmit antenna configuration. The controller configures an antenna switching network and RF frontend of a communication subsystem of the communication device with a first transmit antenna configuration that has a better aggregate antenna outage metric than other antenna configurations.

  • Patent number: 11650252
Abstract: A solid state switch (SSS) monitoring system of an electronic device includes a SSS sensing component that is electrically coupled to a solid state switch. The SSS sensing component generates a switch state signal to indicate a corresponding one of an actuated and an unactuated state of the solid state switch. A controller is communicatively coupled to the SSS sensing component. The controller restarts the SSS sensing component in response to determining that the SSS sensing component is in an inoperative state.

  • Patent number: 11645867
Abstract: A device, method and system for controlling an access point based on movement trends of a mover is provided. A device receives images from a camera device, the camera device configured to image a region adjacent an access point, the access point initially in a first state that prevents access therethrough. The device identifies a designator of a mover in the images. The device determines, using the designator in the images, direction vectors of the mover. The device determines a trend of movement of the mover, relative to the access point, based on changes in one or more of slope and angle of the direction vectors of the mover. The device, in response to determining that the mover is trending towards the access point, changes the access point from the first state to a second state that provides access therethrough.

  • Patent number: 11645469
Abstract: Various implementations provide context-based action recommendations based on an incoming communication. To provide the context-based action recommendation, a computing device collects information associated with a user that can be used to generate context information. Upon receiving an incoming communication, the computing device identifies various characteristics associated with the incoming communication. In turn, the computing device analyzes the context information, using the identified characteristics, to identify context information relevant to the incoming communication. Some implementations generate an action recommendation based on the identified context information such as a purchase transaction correlated with a monetary deposit and/or determining a biometric, or vital sign of the user, and notify the user of the action recommendation.

  • Publication number: 20230135394
Abstract: Implementations for composite display cover are described and provide improved protection and durability to device displays as compared with conventional display protection technologies. The described composite display cover, for instance, utilizes an ultra-thin glass layer with a polymer film applied directly to the glass layer and a hard coat applied to the polymer film. The polymer film, for instance, is applied to the glass layer without an adhesive. Further, the composite display cover can be attached to a display, such as via an adhesive layer that adheres the glass layer to a surface of the display.

  • Patent number: 11641117
Abstract: An electronic device included a first energy storage device coupled to a second energy storage device by a conductor. A charging node is coupled to the first energy storage device. Another conductor couples the charging node to the second energy storage device. A switch is electrically coupled between the conductor and the second energy storage device. A control circuit opens the switch, thereby allowing a first charging current to flow from the charging node to the first energy storage device through the conductor and a second charging current to flow from the charging node to the second energy storage device through the other conductor and closes the switch when a difference between a voltage of the first energy storage device and a voltage of the second energy storage device is within a predefined voltage difference threshold.

  • Patent number: 11640759
Abstract: Techniques for adapting workflows based on time to respond are provided. An electronic indication that a trigger has been detected by a sensor is received. The workflow server is configured to execute an action in a workflow in response to the trigger. An alert is sent to a device associated with a user to request a response from the user. Reception of the response is the action in the workflow. The response from the user is received. It is detected that a current response time for the trigger exceeds a threshold response time. A pattern that indicates response times for triggers of the trigger type recurrently exceed the threshold response time is detected. A proposed modification to the workflow or to a standard operating procedure (SOP) of an entity is generated. An electronic message is sent to a system administrator that recommends implementing the proposed modification.
