    Abstract: In aspects of a foldable display viewfinder user interface, a wireless device has a rear-facing camera to capture digital images, and has a foldable display screen to display a viewfinder user interface in which a camera preview image as captured by the rear-facing camera is displayable. The wireless device implements an image viewfinder module that can determine a semi-folded state of the foldable display screen, and the viewfinder user interface can be displayed on an approximate half section of the foldable display screen in the semi-folded state. The image viewfinder module can determine that an upper display section of the foldable display screen is not viewable in the semi-folded state of the foldable display screen, such as based on a camera image view from a front-facing camera, and the viewfinder user interface can then be displayed on a lower display section of the foldable display screen in the semi-folded state.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus provide equal energy codebooks for coupled antennas with transmission lines. A plurality of precoders can be received from a codebook in a transmitter having an antenna array. Each precoder of the plurality of precoders can be transformed to a transformed precoder such that the transmit power for each transformed precoder is equal to the transmit power for each of other transformed precoders of the plurality of precoders. The transmit power can be expressed as a quadratic form with respect to the corresponding precoder. The quadratic form can be based on a transmission line impedance of a transmission line between a signal source and the antenna array. A signal can be received from the signal source. A transformed precoder of the plurality of transformed precoders can be applied to the signal to generate a precoded signal for transmission over a physical channel. The precoded signal can be transmitted.

The method also includes performing video analytics, on a second pixel region of the image, different than the first pixel region, to make a first determination that the identified person is wearing a badge, or to make a second determination that no badge is being properly worn by the identified person. The method also includes generating an alert, specific to the identified person, within the security system based at least in part on the first or second determination.

    Abstract: A communication subsystem, method and computer program product preconfigure a size of a transport control protocol (TCP) buffer when connected to a master node using a first radio access technology (RAT) that supports during dual connectivity with a secondary node using a second RAT. A timer is started when the secondary node is available but not being used at least in part for data transfer. Until the timer expires, the TCP buffer is maintained in a size to efficiently provide both (i) support for data transfer using the first RAT via the master node only; and (ii) expedited setup of data transfer using at least the secondary node using the second RAT. When the timer expires without connecting to the secondary node, the controller reduces the size of the TCP buffer to release storage resources that are not needed for data transfer via only the master node.

The status module is implemented to drop the ranging request if the device is an idle device state such that the ranging request is extraneous. Alternatively, the status module is implemented to reduce a number of FTM frames in the ranging request based on the device state indicating that multiple FTM frames of the ranging request are extraneous, and then route to perform the ranging request of the WLAN RTT burst with the reduced number of FTM frames in the ranging request.
