  • Patent number: 12015624
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and scoring security anomalies in a computing environment. One system includes a communication interface and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to receive, via the communication interface, a network traffic event for the computing environment, parse the network traffic event to extract a feature set describing the network traffic event, and apply noise to the feature set to produce a noised feature set and produce a reduced noise feature set by processing the noised feature set using a neural network trained to remove noise. The electronic processor is further configured to compare the reduced noise feature set to the feature set to determine a success score and determine whether the success score exceeds a threshold. Responsive to determining that the success score does not exceed the threshold, the electronic processor is further configured to label the network traffic event as anomalous.

  • Patent number: 12013950
Abstract: An analysis engine of an anomaly detection system receives an input captured by a monitoring device, determines, based on a currently used anomaly detection model, that the input represents an object or event that should not be classified as an anomaly, and determines, based on a previously used model, that the input was previously classified as an anomaly. In response, the analysis engine determines a respective classification result for the input based on additional models used between the currently and previously used models, determines, based on the respective classification results, that it is likely that the anomaly detection system has been deliberately re-trained to falsely classify the input, and initiates an action to correctly classify the input as representing an object or event that should be classified as an anomaly. The anomaly detection models and classification results may be stored in a training repository for the anomaly detection system.

  • Patent number: 12010089
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for gateway selection. One apparatus identifies a country in which the apparatus is currently located and transmits a query to a DNS server if the apparatus not being located in a home country, the query identifying the country in which the apparatus is currently located and receives a query response from the DNS server. The apparatus determines that gateway selection is mandated in the country if it receives a query response containing one or more records and selects a first gateway in a VPLMN indicated by the one or more records, each record indicating a VPLMN in the country. The apparatus determines that gateway selection is not mandated in the country if the query response contains no records and selects a second gateway, the second gateway selected in a VPLMN indicated in stored gateway selection information.

  • Patent number: 12010533
Abstract: Systems and methods of identifying anomalies within radio devices. The method includes obtaining raw radio data from a radio device of a plurality of radio devices, identifying a radio performance indicator related to an operational performance, determining a long-term and a short-term average of the indicator based on previously received indicators from the device, and determining a weighted ratio of the long-term and short-term average based on an age of the indicator and an amount of the previously received indicators. The method includes generating a curated indicator from the weighted ratio and the indicator, deriving, from a plurality of curated indicators from the plurality of devices and the curated indicator, a curated group average, determining an anomaly in the operational performance of the radio device based on a comparison of the curated indicator and the curated group average, determining a recommended action, and transmitting an electronic notification indicating the action.

  • Patent number: 12003665
Abstract: An incoming call from a source device having a source identifier is received at a receiving device and an indication of and request to accept the incoming call is provided at an output interface of the receiving device. A determination is made of whether this is a first time that the source device has called this receiving device or if the local address book is devoid of the source identifier or any associated contextual information associated with a user of the source device having the source identifier. If so, one or more databases of public safety incident information, call information, registration information, dispatch records, mobile application information, and location information is accessed and contextual information identified from the databases associating the source device with the receiving device. The contextual information is then provided at the receiving device while providing the indication of and request to accept the incoming call.

  • Patent number: 12001532
Abstract: An electronic device includes a memory storing a plurality of fingerprint reference data files. One or more sensors identify whether a mechanical support condition of the electronic device is a hand supported condition or a surface supported condition. A fingerprint sensor receives fingerprint data. One or more processors select a prioritized fingerprint data reference file from the plurality of fingerprint reference data files as a function of the mechanical support condition and authenticate an authorized user of the electronic device by comparing the fingerprint data to the prioritized fingerprint data reference file before comparing the fingerprint data to another fingerprint reference data file of the plurality of fingerprint reference data files. The fingerprint sensor can be situated on a minor surface of the electronic device, on a rear major surface in a central location, on the rear major surface in an edge location, or in other locations.

  • Patent number: 12004046
Abstract: In aspects of object tracking based on UWB tags, a system includes ultra-wideband (UWB) tags located for association with respective objects in an environment, where each UWB tag is identified with a digital label indicative of the association with one or more of the objects. A tracking service is implemented to receive initial location data for the objects from each of the UWB tags that are associated with the objects, and generate an object identity database in which each of the objects are identified by their respective initial location data. The tracking service can monitor for movement of an object that is identified by the initial location data based on subsequent positioning data associated with the object. The movement of an object is monitored for an unauthorized relocation of the object, for a cluster of multiple objects moving together, and/or for an abnormal proximity of multiple objects in the environment.

  • Patent number: 12004037
Abstract: A method and system for providing a fallback solution in a multi-tenant communication system is provided. A cloud-based call processing service receives a voice call initiation request from a first mobile device located at a first communication system. The voice call initiation request includes a request to complete a voice call with a second mobile device located at a second communication system. Resources are allocated at the first communication system and the second communication system. The cloud-based call processing service establishes a call between the first mobile device and the second mobile device. At some point the first communication system determines that it should fallback to single site operation. In fallback mode, call processing functionality is performed at the first communication system for the first mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11995968
Abstract: A presence of a person at a first location within the building is detected using a sensor. Whether the presence of the person at the first location is acceptable is determined in response to detecting the presence of the person at the first location. Then, in response to determining that the presence of the person at the first location is unacceptable, an output device is triggered to output an electronic lure signal to lure the person to a second location that is distant from the first location. The electronic lure signal is based on a category of the person.

  • Patent number: 11995733
Abstract: A process of linking newly submitted unsolicited electronic tips to public-safety data including public-safety cases and tips. An electronic tip processing system correlates a newly received unsolicited electronic tip with public-safety cases. A correlation score is assigned to each public-safety case. The system selects a public-safety case which has a correlation score greater than or equal to a threshold. The system then presents a notification to a case supervisor assigned to the selected public-safety case. The notification indicates availability of new tip information to the case supervisor and also requests the case supervisor to review and validate whether the new tip information including the unsolicited electronic tip is relevant to the public-safety case. When a response received from the case supervisor indicates that the electronic tip is validated by the case supervisor as being relevant to the public-safety case, the system links the unsolicited electronic tip to the public-safety case.

  • Patent number: 11990012
Abstract: In aspects of object contextual control based on UWB radios, a system includes ultra-wideband (UWB) radios associated with respective devices in an environment. The system can include camera devices that capture motions in the environment. Alternatively or in addition, the system can include a mobile wireless device moved in the environment to generate motions detected by sensors of the mobile wireless device. A motion controller can determine a motion indication to interact with a device in the environment based on a location of the device as determined by a position of the UWB radio associated with the device. The motion controller can then initiate a control communication to the device to control the device based on the motion indication to interact with the device.
