  • Patent number: 5301386
Abstract: Apparatus for cleaning flat surfaces comprising a collector (1) for dust and liquid connected to a suction moto-ventilator group (2) and to a suction (3). A reservoir (4) for cleaning liquid is connected to an injection pump group (5), itself connected to a nozzle (6) provided in the suction, as well as an electrical control (7) for the suction group. The injection group, said collector (1) and the reservoir (4) are mounted removably on the upper surface (8) of a base (9) which encloses the suction group (2) and injection group (5). The base (9) comprises an arch (21) which extends above the upper surface (8) of the base (9) in a transverse plane and which comprises two lateral members (23, 26) and a medial member (22) mounted articulately on one of the lateral members. The medial member (22) has at its free end (24) a locking member (25) with the other lateral member ( 26). A retainer immobilizes the collector and the reservoir on the base (9) when the medial member (22) is locked.

  • Patent number: 5300745
Abstract: An oven comprises a cooking chamber having a movable door (3) hinged on the forward surface (2) of said oven and provided with a hook (4) comprising a nose (5) and a catch (6). The hook enters an opening (9) in the forward surface to actuate a movable locking element (7). The locking element comprises a wheel (20) pivotally mounted on a plate (14) fixed to the forward inside surface of the oven. This wheel comprises a first surface (A) comprising two abutment lugs (22 and 23), a safety lock constituted by a blocking finger (25) fixed on the second surface (B) of the wheel and controlled by a safety spur (24) that projects through an opening (23') transversely to the first surface (A) and adapted, either to come into abutment with stop boss (26) of the plate, or to permit the rotation of the wheel. Application to all closure devices, particularly to a household microwave oven to prevent operation thereof by e.g. a child, when the door is open.

  • Patent number: 5295431
Abstract: An accessory for the preparation of a creamy air-milk-steam emulsion to produce Italian cappuccino, is mounted at the end of a steam outlet pipe (2) of an espresso coffee machine. The accessory comprises an aspiration chamber (3) communicating with the steam outlet pipe, a first lateral opening (4) which communicates with a receptacle containing milk, a second lateral opening (5) in communication with the atmosphere, and a third opening (6) through which leaves a first mixture which flows into an emulsion chamber (7) having a first outlet (8). The accessory comprises a first rigid tubular member (9) having the first opening (4) and the first outlet (8) and receiving partially a second flexible tubular member (10) connected at its upper end to the steam outlet pipe (2) and comprising the aspiration chamber (3). The invention is applicable to all coffee machines with a steam outlet pipe.
