Abstract: A hard disk drive frame is provided. The distances from its hard disk drive fixing parts to the substrate center are not the same. During the process of vibrational energy transfer, three-dimensional reactions are induced correspondingly to cancel the kinetic energy transfer. The reactions generated at the static balance point in the three dimensions interfere one another to destroy vibrational frequencies in specific directions. Therefore, the disclosed hard disk drive is resistant to vibrations and suffers less from the resonance effect.

  • Publication number: 20100296391
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for conducting redundancy checks in a chain network, wherein the two ends of the chain network are equipped with a first switch and a second switch respectively, and a port of the first or second switch used for communicating with an external network is set to be blocked, so that when an link failure happens to any switch of the chain network, the two switches close to the link failure port sends control packets to the first and second switches respectively to forward the port that is originally blocking, thus making the network to return to normal state quickly. Besides, as the first and second switches are used to connect other chain networks, external network devices or external redundant network architectures, it allows more network nodes to be included in single network architecture and provides flexibility and compatibility in use by including different redundancy mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 7773378
Abstract: A heat-dissipating structure for the expansion board architecture is provided. A fixing element disposed on the heat-absorbing substrate fixes the motherboard and the first expansion board. The heat-generating elements on the motherboard or the first expansion board are directly in touch with the heat-absorbing surface of the heat-absorbing substrate to absorb their heat. The heat-dissipating board extended from the side of the heat-absorbing substrate then dissipates the heat absorbed by the heat-absorbing substrate. The structure thus solves the problems that existing heat-dissipating structures occupy larger space and therefore cannot be effectively used in an expansion board architecture to dissipate heat produced by the heat-generating elements between the motherboard and the expansion board and that it is likely to have assembly tolerance. Using the structure can reduce the space and the assembly tolerance, but effectively enhance heat dissipation in the expansion board architecture.

  • Publication number: 20100195508
Abstract: A method for checking a ring network redundancy includes a first exchanger and a second exchanger. When the first exchanger is set as a master, the plurality of second exchangers serve as the ring members; the first exchanger has a connection port, which is set as blocking, and the rest of connection ports are set as forwarding. The plurality of second exchangers regularly detects the plurality of connection ports for any outstanding status occurred in the connection status. When an outstanding status occurred, the CF5 is transmitted to the first exchanger and the first exchanger converts the connection port into the forwarding status, and the CF4 is transmitted to the plurality of second exchangers in order to renew the Mac address table. The method of sending out CF through a plurality of ring members can reduce the risk of losing the CF due to overloading network or having too much single network equipments, and thereby increase the reliability of the ring network during the redundancy checking.

  • Publication number: 20100185734
Abstract: This present invention relates to a method for processing response messages, comprising a transmitter, first communication gateway, second communication gateway and a receiver, wherein the transmitter is connected with the first communication gateway, while the receiver is linked with the second communication gateway. When a message is transmitted by the transmitter via a mobile communication network to a remote receiver, the second communication gateway will transmit a response message to the transmitter after the transmitter receives the message. The first communication gateway will determine that the receiver does not receive the message successfully if it does not receive the response message within a given time period, and then transmit the message again or inform the administrator. In this way, it can help reduce the loss of property and life to enterprises and their employees caused by loss of messages.

  • Patent number: 7752280
Abstract: A method of detecting response time-out based on master-slave protocol architecture, which calculates the time required for a slave device to respond to a Modbus request sent by a detection device based on Modbus communication protocol. The method is to send a Modbus request to the slave device through a detection device, and to record the Modbus request sent time, and then to have the slave device provide to the detection device a response. The detection device calculates the response time-out based on the request sent time and the response received time By means of calculating the precise response time-out from the response time-outs which are gotten from the slave device respond to a predetermined number of Modbus requests, the user or manager can determine the response time-out required for the slave device precisely so as to give EXECUTE instruction or command at the accurate time point.

  • Publication number: 20100169689
Abstract: The present invention relates to an auto-restore method for a power device by using a computer device to build a detecting/responding packet in an Ethernet exchanger, and the Ethernet exchange can mutually transmit the packet with the power device. If the Ethernet exchanger fails to receive a responding packet from the power device in the predetermined time and the predetermined value, the Ethernet exchanger will terminate power supply by the Ethernet and reset the power device, and the power device will be restored automatically accordingly. If the power device still cannot function normally after few times of reset, the Ethernet exchanger will shutdown the power supplied by the Ethernet and transmits an alarm signal to the computer device. Thus not only the consumption of the system and safety risk are reduced, but also promptly maintained, to increase the reliability, and save the supervision time of the operator and the cost of onsite maintenance.
