Abstract: The present technology discloses a multi-position valve for use with a container. The valve can have a frustoconical structure having apertures thereon, and a concentric flap attached to the frustoconical structure by a hinge, wherein the concentric flap pivots from a first closed position to a second open position. When the concentric flap of the interior valve is in the first closed position, the concentric flap abuts against the frustoconical structure and blocks fluid flow through the apertures. When the concentric flap of the interior valve is in the second open position, the concentric flap is pivoted upward at the hinge and away from the frustoconical structure and permits fluid flow through the apertures.

Abstract: A diaper pail includes a housing and a lid assembly with a first lid that provides access to an interior of a flexible bag assembly, a second lid that provides access to the bag assembly's top structure, and a third lid cartridge that accommodates the bag assembly. An outer edge of the third lid cartridge forms a gap with the housing to allow a top portion of a bag through the gap. The lid assembly also includes a pair of overlapping planar sheets which pinch the bag to prevent odors from within the bag from passing to the outside.

Abstract: A method of sterilizing a waste container with ultraviolet (UV) light is disclosed which includes, inserting an article of waste into the waste container, sealing the container from an external environment to prevent UV light from shining out, activating a UV sanitizing routine stored in a UV light module having at least one UV light source and irradiating an interior surface of the diaper pail with the UV light.

Abstract: A non-spill drinking container assembly having a container with an open upper portion and closed lower portion. A collar may be removably attached to the upper portion of the container and may have an upper surface with a contour. A seal may be removably attached to the collar and cover the contour of the upper surface of the collar.

Abstract: A multi-function paper towel assembly has a frictional component to control paper towel rolling, and a removable spray bottle container that is positioned inverted, and inside the vertical shaft that holds the paper towel. An accompanying funnel may be attachable to the assembly.

Abstract: A flexible bag assembly having at least one layer of a flexible material that permits a UV light source to penetrate through to sterilize bacterial contents on an interior of the flexible bag assembly. Transmission of the UV light source is maximized through the flexible material and to enhance a kill rate of bacteria within the interior of the flexible bag assembly. A bio-assimilator may be integrated into a composition of the flexible bag assembly to facilitate biodegradation by anaerobic degradation leaving no microplastic remnants.
