Abstract: A compressible pacifier is described having a flexible neck portion connecting a nipple to a base portion. The flexible neck portion allows for the nipple to be extended for use as needed, and compressed within the planar surface of the base portion when the pacifier is not in use or is being transported.

Abstract: A drying rack assembly having a first drying rack, a utensil bin, a support that connects the utensil bin to the first drying rack, and an elevated foundation which promotes air ventilation throughout the drying rack. The first drying rack includes an integrated clamp and a collapsible peg that secures objects in place. The utensil bin is a cylindrical sleeve having guided projections that connects to the support located on the first drying rack. At least one aperture is located on the support to provide proper drainage for items placed inside the utensil bin.

Abstract: A harness retainer having a cover, a magnet, a rear plate and a fastener. The cover has a ledge defining a flat surface. The rear plate is attached to the cover and is constructed to define a contour having a radius of curvature. The magnet is disposed between the cover and the rear plate and is disposed under the ledge. The rear plate has a first retainer and a second retainer. The fastener is fixedly attached to the first retainer and removably attached to the second retainer.

Abstract: A bath book and a puppet combination and method of manufacturing a bath book and a puppet combination, wherein a first intermediate assembly is bonded to a second intermediate assembly to create a third intermediate assembly. A second jersey backing layer is secured to the third intermediate assembly to create a fourth intermediate assembly. The fourth intermediate assembly may be flipped inside-out through a hole opening in the second jersey backing layer. The hole may then be sealed. The second jersey backing layer may be pushed upwards into the further intermediate assembly. An adhesive film may be applied to the terry cloth ring and the non-woven material ring of the second intermediate assembly to create a puppet assembly. The puppet assembly is positioned into a center aperture in a book assembly and bonded therein.

Abstract: A wet wipe container having a housing having an internal compartment for holding wet wipes, a lid and a moisturizing spray dispenser. The lid has a dispensing opening through which wipes are dispensed and a dispensing opening lid for covering the dispensing opening while not in use. The moisturizing spray dispenser has an outlet positioned to dispense fluid directly onto the wet wipes in a storage position in the housing.

Abstract: Modular and flexible interchangeable brush system to scrub a container. The brush system includes a handle having a first core and a second core. A sleeve is provided into which the first core and the second core are disposed. A flexible stem is removably connected to the first core of the handle. The flexible stem has at least one gap into which a resilient material is disposed. The location of the gap is at a bend location along a longitudinal axis of the handle. A first brush is operatively connected to the flexible stem, and a second brush is operatively connected to, and received within, the second core of the handle.

Abstract: A low profile, modular container is described having two cylindrical compartments which connect together at a center portion. The ends of each compartment include a pair of pivoting jaws which are adapted to open to accommodate a pacifier within the body of each compartment.

Abstract: A cassette to dispense a pleated tubing having an annular body, an annular cover and a plurality of apertures. The annular body may have a generally U-shaped housing with a central cylindrical core. The annular cover may extend over the annular body and define a gap, while being secured to the body. The plurality of apertures may be radially provided in an angular wall in the annular body.

Abstract: A modular pacifier assembly having a modular mouth guard assembly including a nipple. The modular mouth guard assembly includes a mouth guard shield and a removable mouth guard plate that interconnects into the mouth guard shield.

Abstract: A vehicle window shade that is installable in a secure manner against a vehicle window. The window shade has a screen that is adapted to fit windows of varying heights. The shade comprises a base and a screen coiled and housed within the base and adapted to be extended outside of the base and retracted. At least one clip is pivotally connected to the base. The clip secures an elongated housing of the base in a substantially horizontal plane aligned with an upper or lower edge of a vehicle window. A temperature indicator may be connected to the shade and an attachment device may also be attached and adapted to secure the screen to a flat surface in an extended position.

Abstract: A toilet training device includes an odor remediation system for absorbing or masking odors that may be created during toilet training. The odor remediation system may include a modular odor remediating insert that may be releasably positioned within a recess that is provided within the toilet training device. The odor remediating insert may include an odor absorbing substance such as sodium bicarbonate, an odor masking substance such as a fragrance or a combination of an odor absorbing substance and an odor masking substance. The toilet training device also includes a system for dispensing wipes that may utilize a recess that is defined in a side wall of the main body portion of the toilet training device. A wipes cartridge is designed so that it can be used to conveniently dispense wipes regardless of whether it is separated from the toilet training device or mounted within the recess of the toilet training device.

Abstract: A stretchable vehicle window shade that may have a panel and a positioning tab attached to the panel. The positioning tab may have a magnet disposed inside. The magnet may be adapted so that a magnetic force allows attachment to a metallic portion of a door frame of a vehicle.

Abstract: A cassette for use in dispensing a pleated tubing. The cassette includes an annular body having a generally U shaped housing with a central cylindrical core. At least one wall has an upper end with a downturn lip disposed thereon. An annular cover extends radially outward from the central cylindrical core over the annular body defining a gap. The cover has a socket into which the upper end with the downturn lip is secured. A tubing is disposed within the u-shaped housing and withdrawn from the gap.

Abstract: A threshold barrier assembly includes an illumination system to facilitate visibility of the barrier assembly while mounted in a doorway or on a staircase, thereby reducing the risk of a trip hazard. The barrier assembly can include a frame comprising a pair of upright frame members connected to a lower cross member, and a barrier door comprising an upper horizontal cross member pivotally connected to the frame, a lower horizontal cross member, and vertical members connected between the upper and lower horizontal cross members. At least one illumination element is installed in at least one of the lower cross member, the upper horizontal cross member, or one or more of the vertical members. An integrated controller can control illumination of the illumination system based on a predetermined sequence, or detected environmental or operating conditions.

Abstract: A spill proof container assembly having a receptacle, a non spill barrier, a collar with a hook, a handle and a cover. The cover has in integrated hinge strap disposed at a peripheral edge. The hinge strap has a first surface having a curved notch and a second surface with a raised bump. When the hinge strap is attached to the hook, the cover pivots between an open position and closed position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating hygienic storage and disposal of waste packages such as used disposable diapers include a housing, a lid, and a bag unit having a bag frame and an attached single use flexible bag. The flexible bag is pleated and larger in cross-section at a lower portion than it is at the connection to the bag frame. The bag frame is releasably mounted to the housing so that it will not rotate. The lower portion of the flexible bag is positioned in a storage chamber of the housing that is shaped so as to align and center the bag. A rotatable member having radially extending flexible fingers is engaged with an intermediate portion of the bag. When the lid is closed, the rotatable member will twist the intermediate portion of the bag, sealing odors in the lower portion of the bag. A parent or caregiver will push the waste package through the resistance of the twisted intermediate portion into the lower portion of the bag, and close the lid to re-seal the twisted portion.
