Abstract: A digital MFP accesses a web server registered in a first routine site table, and acquires RSS data. The digital MFP creates an updated content database based on the acquired RSS data. From the web server, the digital MFP downloads content including a set search keyword among updated information of contents included in the RSS data. Then, the downloaded content is stored into a content database. Alternatively, the downloaded content is printed out from a printer unit. Users in an office access the digital MFP to refer to the downloaded content, and efficiently share information.

Abstract: The present invention provides a setup information generating device for a punch press which can generate setup information on replacement of a punch and a die with compatible tools, that is, replacement among punches and dies identified by the same tool number and used for processing for the same shape and the same size and which can also generate setup information according to processing know-how or the like. The device has setup information generating means 48 for comparing a processing schedule with tool numbers in mounted tool information storage means 45 to generate setup information. The device has compatible tool registering means 38 for registering processing conditions such as material quality and board thickness and information on which of plural types of punches 81 and dies 82 identified by the same tool number are compatible as a punch 81 and a die 82 which meet the processing conditions are registered in accordance with inputs from an operation panel 46.

Abstract: A recipient communication terminal device, that can communicate in a V.34 communication mode, communicates with a transmitter communication terminal device, that cannot communicate in the V.34 communication mode. The transmitter device detects whether or not the recipient device includes V.8 communication mode capability in accordance with a received digital identification signal (DIS). When the transmitter device detects that the recipient device includes V.8 communication mode capability, the transmitter device generates a silent state for a prescribed period of time as a response to the received DIS, or stands by without responding to the received DIS until a second DIS is received.

Abstract: A facsimile machine, which is an analog communication terminal connected to a facsimile machine of another end via an IP network, monitors a silence generating interval by detecting energy of a signal received from the facsimile machine of the other end. When a silent state generates periodically, the facsimile machine judges that the communication is abnormal caused by a packet loss. When the communication is judged to be abnormal, the communication is interrupted or the communication speed is decelerated.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an entry unit, a registering function accepting unit, and a function registering unit. The entry unit includes software keys registered with functions of the electronic device. The registering function accepting unit accepts a function selection instruction from a user. The function registering unit registers a function with the software keys. The software keys include an unregistered software key in which a function is not registered. The function registering unit registers the function accepted by the registering function accepting unit with the unregistered software key.

Abstract: An image forming system includes a scanner, an image forming device and a terminal device. The scanner scans an original document to obtain image data, and stores the image data in a remote storage device. The terminal device controls printing by the remote image forming device in accordance with the image data stored in the storage device. The scanner includes an accepting unit, an assigning unit, and a storage unit. The accepting unit accepts information such as a paper size and a number of sets. The assigning unit assigns a file name including the information accepted by the accepting unit to the image data. The storage unit stores the image data assigned with the file name into the storage device. The terminal device includes a control unit for controlling printing in accordance with the information included in the file name of the image data stored in the storage device.

Abstract: An image forming device includes a main frame of the image forming device having a body, a drum shaft which is positioned and supported by the body of the main frame of the image forming device, a photoconductive drum which is provided removably in the main frame of the image forming device and supported rotatably on the drum shaft, and an optical writing head which includes positioning pins and is positioned relatively with respect to the photoconductive drum. By contacting the positioning pins against a circumferential body of the drum shaft, the optical writing head is positioned relatively with respect to the photoconductive drum.

Abstract: A facsimile machine provides file specifying information of a transmission file to an agent software. The agent software runs an appropriate application program in accordance with the file specifying information. By using this function, a prescribed file on a data conversion device is converted directly into an image content via a network from the facsimile machine. Accordingly, a facsimile transmission of the image content to a prescribed destination can be carried out just by an operation from the facsimile machine. As a result, an efficiency of a facsimile transmission process is improved.

Abstract: A document image scanning device includes two scanning units provided along a document transportation path for scanning both sides of an original document. A plurality of transportation systems are classified into a first transportation system upstream of a first scanning unit and a second transportation system located front and back of first and second scanning units. The first and the second transportation systems are driven by first and second drive transmitting units, respectively. The first and the second drive transmitting units are distributed from an output shaft of one motor to transmit a driving force.

Abstract: To provide a communication device which can obtain information necessary at a transmitter without placing a burden on a receiver. The control unit prepares an original document by being scanned by the scanning unit, received by the facsimile communication unit, or received by the network communication unit. By comparing a condition for the above operations and a condition set in the distribution table within the storage unit, it can be determined whether or not there is a destination or a reply document, and the reply document can be specified. When including the reply document in an electronic mail, the electronic mail is formed by including the original document and the specified reply document, and the formed electronic mail is transmitted to the destination from the network communication unit. The reply document can include an indication for handling and processing the document, or an input column for the information necessary at the transmitter.

Abstract: A punch press that provides an arrangement of a motor and a crank mechanism so that the motor does not project far from the side of a frame. The punch press includes a servo motor, a ram which drives a press tool, a crank mechanism which converts a rotating motion transmitted to a crank shaft into an elevating and lowering operation of the ram, and a drive transmitting mechanism which transmits rotation of the servo motor to the crank shaft while reducing rotation speed. The servo motor is next to the crank mechanism and its rotating axis is parallel to the axis of the crank shaft. The drive transmitting mechanism includes servo motor side gears joined to respective output shafts of the servo motor. The servo motor side gears respectively engage, directly or via intermediate gears, with crank side gears joined to the crank shaft.

Abstract: An image forming device includes a device main body, a process unit which is inserted into and removed from the device main body, and a lock mechanism which fixes a position of the process unit inserted in the device main body. The lock mechanism includes a slide member, an urging member and a receiving part. The slide member is provided on the process unit and is movable in a perpendicular direction with respect to an inserting and removing direction of the process unit. The urging member is provided between the process unit and the slide member and urges the slide member outward in the perpendicular direction. The receiving part is provided at a position in the device main body displaced from a passage where the process unit passes when being inserted and removed. The receiving part makes contact with the slide member urged outward in an inserting direction.

The destination information storage unit can store a plurality of the other ends which have been fixed. The searching unit does not search other ends that are already fixed by the fixing unit.

Abstract: ID readers 22 are provided on both left and right sides of a hoisting frame of a stacker crane in an automated warehouse for reading an ID tag 44 of a container 40. ID readers 24 are provided above the hoisting frame 24 for reading ID tags 48 of individual goods 46 on the container 40. When the container 40 is pulled onto the hoisting frame 8 by a slide fork 10, the ID tags 48 of the individual goods 46 are read. It is possible to read an ID of the container and IDs of the individual goods simply and reliably, and an inventory check or the like can be performed on the hoisting frame.

Abstract: In an image scanning device, an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) frame accommodating an ADF is provided openable and closable on an upper surface of a device main body via a hinge member. In the hinge member, a frame supporting part fixed on one end part of the ADF frame and a base part fixed on the device main body are mounted in a manner capable of being swung. A rear side edge of the ADF frame is supported by the frame supporting part of the hinge member. The ADF frame is provided openable and closable so as to expose a bottom surface of the ADF frame to a front side.

The present invention is applied to a multi-turret type punch press or the like. A setup information display device is used for a processing machine 1 in which a plurality of tools 7 can be installed. The device includes information generating means 48 for generating setup information on the basis of a processing schedule SH and information on the tools 7 installed in the processing machine 1. The device also includes display information generating means 71 for generating information to be displayed in an information display section 47a of a display device 47. The display information generating means 71 generates, in the information display section 47a, a setup information display 81 that shows the setup information and a guide display 82 that prompts an operator to perform an operation required to show the setup information display 81.
