  • Publication number: 20070280228
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of promptly and efficiently starting a communication processing when a demand is generated, in a communication system including a terminal for a non-continuous connection. A communication terminal and a device can be connected through a relay device, and when the communication terminal transmits a UDP packet to the device, the relay device receives the UDP packet and transmits a control signal to the device. The device makes a dial-up connection to establish a PPP session, and establishes a TCP connection with the relay device. By using this TCP connection, the communication terminal transmits an inspection instruction file to the device. The device conducts an inspection in accordance with the inspection instruction file, prepares an inspection result file, and returns it to the communication terminal. Then, the device disconnects the TCP connection, the PPP session, and the dial-up line network.

  • Patent number: 7303169
Abstract: An overhead running vehicle 10 uses an absolute position sensor or an encoder to detect its own position. The overhead running vehicle 10 then reports its own position and state to a system controller 14 via a communication line also used as an electricity feeding line. Further, the overhead running vehicle 10 intercepts reports from other overhead running vehicles 10 to avoid collisions or deadlocks. The system controller 14 and each overhead running vehicle 10 can determine the positions and state of other overhead running vehicles 10. This enables the system to be efficiently operated.

  • Publication number: 20070258106
Abstract: A communication terminal device using timestamp technology officially certifies transmission completion time. When a start key is pressed, and e-document scan is instructed, scanned image data is stored as an e-document along with a timestamp received from a Time Stamping Authority (TSA). When facsimile transmission is carried out, and log e-document storing transmission is selected, a hash value of data composed of communication log data and image data transmitted by facsimile is transmitted to the TSA, and log file data and a timestamp are stored as an e-document.

  • Publication number: 20070253800
Abstract: The height of the center of gravity of a stacker crane is determined in consideration of a height position of an elevation frame and the inertial force is determined from the travel acceleration and deceleration. Wheel pressures applied to front and rear drive wheels are determined based on the height of the center of gravity, the inertial force, and horizontal distances from the center of gravity to the front and rear drive wheels. Torques are allocated in proportion to the determined wheel pressures.

  • Publication number: 20070253022
Abstract: A communication terminal device includes a receiving unit, a printer unit, a selection registering unit, an extracting unit, and a determining unit. The receiving unit receives data. The printer unit prints an image onto printing paper according to the data received by the receiving unit. The selection registering unit registers a selection of whether or not to attach a storage medium, in which information can be electronically written, to the printing paper and to output the printing paper, by associating the selection with prescribed information. The extracting unit extracts the prescribed information from the data received by the receiving unit or data acquired in relation with transmission and reception of the data. The determining unit determines whether or not to attach the storage medium to the printing paper according to the selection registered in the selection registering unit by being associated with the prescribed information extracted by the extracting unit.

  • Publication number: 20070237551
Abstract: In an image forming apparatus, a second shutter is caused to slide in conjunction with a first shutter which slides in the mounting direction in association with a mounting operation of a developing device to an apparatus body. Accordingly, in association with a separating movement of the developing device from the apparatus body, the first shutter is caused to slide in association with the second shutter which slides in the separating direction, which is the opposite direction from the mounting direction. The direction that the second shutter opens a discharge port is the same direction as the mounting direction. An urging force that a first urging member applies to the first shutter which closes an inlet port is smaller than an urging force that the second urging member is applied to the second shutter which closes the discharge port.
