Abstract: A social media computing system is described. The social media computing system provides a social media platform to a plurality of users. Additionally, the social media computing system provides merchants the ability to provide targeted offers to users of the social media platform. As used herein, the word “merchants” also includes service providers. The offers relate to goods or services provided by the merchants. In some situations, the offers are transmitted by the social media computing system to user devices based on requests by the users. In other situations, the offers can be transmitted directly from the merchants to the user devices based on determined locations of the user devices.

Abstract: Provided is dynamic and flexible authentication based on an interaction over a communications link between a user device and a financial entity. A set of interactions enabled at the user device are categorized into different levels, each level comprises a different authentication policy. At about the same time as an interaction is initiated at the device, an authentication policy assigned to the interaction is accessed and a security challenge is activated at the device. Based upon a successful response to the security challenge, an enablement of the communications link is continued. Based upon an unsuccessful response to the security challenge, the communications link is disabled.

Abstract: An example system creates a video based on a user's financial profile for a specified time period and displays the video on a virtual reality device to help the user visualize the user's financial decisions resulting in the user's current financial status as well as visualize the user's predicted financial status in the future. The system analyzes the user's historical financial transactional data, profile information and relevant market and peer information to extract and predict one or more data points regarding the user's financial profile from the past, present and the future. The system generates a video about the user's financial profile by creating a storyline based on the one or more data points.
